Not as authentic as I thought

We ordered Cereal Prawns, Laksa, Singapore curry bihon, Chap chae, Sambal fish fillet, Lechon Kawali and Yang chow fried rice.

Generally, I was quite disappointed with the food. Maybe because I just came back from Singapore that time we visited. However, not all the items in the menu foiled me. I loved the Cereal Prawn and the Sambal Fish Fillet. I still haven't sampled the other dishes that I wanted to try like the Hainanese Chicken and the Salmon Head Curry but again I was too full to order some more.

Mixed opinion

Food's not bad, though it would be better if they were served hot. I wouldn't recommend their char kwey teow though; tastes nothing like the original. The nasi goreng's a good choice

A pleasant surprise

Finally tried it last night. The location used to be a cheap drinking spot which burned down. Close to where I live, but this street I seldom take. So there, good food. Not great yet, cause it's a first time. I wanted to try their seafood dishes, wish they didn't use cream dory. But there's salmon and squid. I vow to always have light lunch at work, hit the gym when I come home (to get hungry), then go to Hawker's for some comfort food I could have many nights of the week.

a taste of Singapore in Makati

100 pesos rice bowls with free dalandan juice is the best thing about this place. i love the soy chicken and nasi goreng. This place is the must if you want to try singaporean food without having to buy a plane ticket. The owners are friendly guys who man the place themselves. Put in the cheap prices ( nothing more than 100 pesos, i think ), worthy food and alert crew makes this place two thumbs up!

Now this is what I call AUTHENTIC!

Now, this is serious Singaporean food. Try it and you'll understand me when I say that they really know what they're doing.

I'm very particular with SG food since I lived there for awhile. I've tried so many other trying-hard-to-be-Singaporean restos in Manila but only 101 Hawker House hits the spot! Really delicious food and value for money... will definitely come back for more. :)
