    Myron's Place in Greenbelt 5 is a nice place with has a beautiful location- that is.. facing the Greenbelt garden. The modern interiors are beautifully done in white, brown and orange.. a very appetizing color. We went there for lunch and ordered the Risotto Ball for appetizer, and the Mesclun Salad with Sea Scallops in Raspberry Vinaigrette. The appetizer was scrumptious! Little bites of rolled al dente rice in chorizo and parmesan cheese- absolutely scrumptious. The salad paled in comparison to the appetizer, so we liked this thing the least. For the main course- we ordered the Franco's Choice- an Angus beef steak at 450 grams with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! It would have neen perfect if the fat were more evenly distributed, but ... all in all it was delicious!

    Sorry we didn't get to try the Banana Cream Pie.. next time!! :)

    Service is alright . . . but they could do with better service. There were too many waiters coming up to us ask us for anything, and it was getting annoying. I think one waiter for each table, who knows everything there is to know would have been perfect. And if they were changing the plates and utensils for the next course.. they might as well have changed the paper placemats too.

    But food is great, we definitely want to go back :)

    We absolutely love the Chuleton Villagodio, the place, and the service!

    We wanted to try Thai food for a change, and we chanced upon this bright, modern place in Megamall. The interiors are nicely done- bright colors with the violet elephant signifying the Thai influence.

    The waiters were quick to take the orders . . . but the food was not that quick to be served. We ordered the Tom Yum Soup, The Sampler- which was composed of three appetizers- two pieces each of the Fried Vegetable Roll, Crab Cakes and Fish cakes, The Pad Thai Goong and their Thai Iced Tea.

    Everything was great, except for the Pad Thai Goong. It was served very, very late - that was . . . after we were done with the soup and platter. The Thai Iced Tea was refreshing after having all the spicy food we had.

    We tried this restaurant as it came with a very good referral of the original La Maison in Cebu City. We ordered the Gambas ala Maison for appetizers and two dishes for our entrees namely the Barkada Ribs and the Dover Sole Fillet. They also served a complementary bread platter with a balsamic vinegar-olive oil dip for starters.

    The verdict: The Gambas was very good. The Dover Sole Fillet was slightly toughened by a crisp outer crust- must have been over baked or toasted. But the spices and the meat was good, slightly Sicilian- with hints of the flavors of bell pepper and freshly cracked black pepper. The ribs wasn't the best in town. they were okay, but they could have been more tender.

    For dessert, we had the Chocolate Lover's Cake- a dark chocolate cake, almost flourless in its richness and density.

    This is, by far, one of the best Filipino restaurants. Great ambiance, better food, and good service. It's located in the heart of Limketkai Mall.
    They have good kare-kare, fresh lumpia, crispy tadyang and crispy kangkong, and a whole lot more!
    But best of all, they have the best Puto bumbong! I haven't quite tasted anything like it, not even here in the metro. Go try it!

    And do the white water rafting in CdO as well!
