    Bad attitude

    I called them up to order for pickup. They kept passing me around because I was told by someone who sounded like the son of the owner that my reception was bad at that no one could hear me properly.

    They tried to take my order anyway. I said I wanted phad thai, and the s.o.o thought I said "side of rice". I repeated that I didn't want rice but wanted phad thai, and he just said, "got it." I asked him to repeat what I said so I could confirm he got the order right, and he answers with a lot of sass, "Are you undermining my capacity to hear?" Excuse me, but he himself told me the reception was bad.

    I let it pass and ordered my food anyway, which was sadly, not worth it. I tried the phad thai (bland), chicken pandan (dry), green chicken curry and red chicken curry (not worth writing home about), catfish salad (did not taste anything like how it's done in Thailand), chicken noodle soup (plain yuck). Sigh. So they are cheap, but it was still a waste of money.

    My phone order took 2 hours to be delivered. Their excuses were: the deliveryguy was new, the deliveryguy had to deliver another order before mine, the deliveryguy was not picking up his phone, their manager had not arrived yet, they don't know the number of their manager... Blah, blah, blah. Just one word: unacceptable. The food and the value were not worth the two-hour wait.
