Sure, the barbecue's great, but it takes forever to get to you. This is probably due to 1) the vast number of patrons and 2) the vast number of waiting staff standing around, chatting to each other instead of paying attention to customers.

And when the orders do get to you, oftentimes, they're mixed up.

Our family's caterer of choice for special occasions. Their price range is the most affordable, but amazingly, the food tastes very, very delicious! They also offer a wide selection of dishes to choose from. Service is excellent as well.

It was our first time eating here, but we've always been curious about it. Finally had the chance to try the place last Sunday.

My husband and I ordered the buffalo wings and the steak and prawns.

The steak was grilled well. Tender and juicy. The gravy and vegetable sidings were excellent. The prawns were equally excellent.

However, for the buffalo wings, what we got were bloody chicken meat. I think the meat was frozen and wasn't thawed enough before cooking.

Items are a bit on the expensive side and service is so-so.

The verdict: I'd give it a second try given the chance, but I'd steer clear away from the chicken wings.

If you love Italian food, this place is a must-try!

Ordered the quatro formagio pizza and the penne pasta. The pizza was light and had a nice zing-y taste to it, the crust was thin and crunchy.

The penne was a delightful surprise...perfecto!

The ambience is more family-oriented than dating couple-oriented. The food is a bit price-y, but since serving sizes are designed for sharing, it comes out okay.

Great service, too! The staff is friendly, polite and gives great food suggestions when asked.

Yes, Burgers Can Be Healthy, Too
    Good Burgers, C5 Road

With patties made of either chicken or veggie meat, and the cooking method being grilling instead of frying, Good Burgers proves that yes, burgers can be healthy food, too.

Although, personally, I don't prefer chicken patties over beef because chicken meat is rather dry (compared to a juicy beef patty.) However, Good Burgers compensates for this by being generous with the add-ons: lettuce, tomatoes, different kinds of cheeses, Mexican salsa, garlic mayonnaise...practically all the great things that can complement a burger.

Sadly, the C5 branch -- being a little kiosk at the side of the road -- is primarily for take-out only. Those seeking to dine in can't all be accommodated as that branch's "dining area" consists only of a couple of small round tables and a few stools at the back of the cooking area. Also, the fact that the dining area is beside the drainage of the establishment beside it (Mom & Tina's, if I remember correctly) doesn't really help with increasing the appetite. -_-

The price range is quite reasonable and, on the whole, burger lovers won't be disappointed if they gave it a try, but as much as possible, order the burgers to go. :)

It's nothing like the BF branches. The service staff act like they couldn't care less and are grouchy all the time (except this one time where I witnessed a middle-aged man flirting with them and the waitresses were all a-giggles.) The food takes a while to get to you and when it does, most of the time, it's cold. And worst of all, the food is practically grease.

If you're on a tight budget, but are craving for tasty Italian food, Pizzeria Pronto fits the bill.

Ambiance and food presentation are nothing fancy, but you can always be sure that the food tastes good and the serving size is very adequate for the price range. Plus, the service staff are efficient, friendly and polite. Waiting time for the food to be served is fairly fast.

Personal favorites are the Chicken Parmigian (breaded chicken breast topped with pomodoro sauce and parmesan, served with either pasta or rice and with buttered veggies on the side) and Shrimp a la Vodka pasta (shrimp with creamy tomato and vodka sauce.)

    Best Burgers Ever!

Gourmet's Palate serves the best burgers I have ever tasted (no exaggeration.)

The buns are amazingly light, but compliment the burger well. And even if the burger has gone cold, it won't turn greasy.

Rice meals and side dishes aren't bad, either. My personal favorites are the Mushroom Melt and Garlic Scream burgers, as well as the soft beef taco.

Starting at 70+ per burger, you'd get bang for your buck. So if you're on a tight budget, forget the fast food burgers, they aren't even remotely as good as what Gourmet's Palate serves any way.

    Great but Late!
    Carlo's Pizza, Moonwalk Village
    Rating - 1.75 - 1.75 - 1.75 - 1.75 - 1.75

So my husband and I had food delivered from the Moonwalk branch. Technically, Moonwalk is in another village from where we were (Better Living), but since they had distributed flyers in to our mail boxes, I had thought that they would know the area and not get lost like the rider had claimed.

Getting lost could be forgiven, had the person who handled the call not told us that the food would be delivered in 30 minutes time. But after waiting for 45 minutes and still no food, my husband followed the order up and was told that the rider will be leaving in 5 minutes! Plus, since he got lost, the food got to us after 1 hour and 20 minutes!

A little too long to wait for food delivery, but I wanted to give them a chance since we have tried the Tagaytay branch and I found the food to my liking.

Sure enough, the food was good, but it would have been better had it not been cold! :(

We ordered the Bolognese pizza and chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers I found a little too spicy and the (cream cheese?) dip for the fries was a bit sweet for my taste.

The pizza was great! Not too sweet, not too tangy. The tomato sauce, cream and cheese complimented each other nicely. The crust was light so it's good that one doesn't feel bloated after eating a few slices. However, it probably would have been perfect had the food been warm (I can't stress this enough.)

So, Carlo's Pizza Moonwalk... if you're dining in, the food's good. If you're having it delivered, think twice.
