- rack attack!
- Racks, SM Mall of Asia
-
Rack's is the new kid on the resto block at SM MOA. This rib place veteran is worthy of being rediscovered by your palates. The look of the place is country-cozy with an easy view of the ribs slowly being char-grilled through a see-through window. The classic Rack's I know is back!Rating

Don't miss their baby-back ribs, it fulfills its promise of falling-off-the-bone tenderness. And with a dab of Rack's sauce your tastebuds will be swirling in heavenly delight.
And if you can't get enough of fried chicken, Rack's has taken this Southern masterpiece to another level. It's crunchy and juicy at the same time. It's served with potato wedges ala Shakeys Chick 'N Chips.
I'm glad they've reopened. Great for friends and family. Di pa mahal. You'll definitely have a Rackin' good time.

I've been here a lot of times. and during the mid of september, even dining here 2x a week.
the food is great. for starters, i recommend the danggit salad and their creamy kuhol soup which you can request to be split.
Try the seafood paella which was very, very good and the servings were generous. don't miss the grilled saranggani bangus belly with longganisa risotto which i never fail to order every time i eat here. there is also a clever twist to the fried labahita fillets which they served with mashed taro instead of potato.
We also loved their smoked fish pizza with kesong puti i just wish they'd make the size bigger.
new to their menu are the vietnamese crabs which i'm trying on my next visit.
the food is good, the service is good. the ambiance is cozy. the servings are generous. the prices are sane. I just noticed one thing - THE FOOD IS INCONSISTENT. There's a major difference dining here on weekdays and weekends and the taste of the food shows if its rushed, esp. on a packed weekend dinner. but over-all i love this place! - Was this review...? and the food is magnifique!
food is well presented, service is excellent.
the ribeye steak which is imported from Australia and priced for less than P 600 was one of the best i've had. their pasta and sandwich selections are very good, too.
I always have a different foodie moments at this place and so far, anything I've tried on their menu does not fail to disappoint.
which brings me to another highlight of 5 cows - the dessert! Remember that yummy ice cream cake you always craved for as a child? They're found here!
Their ice cream selections that rival cold rock are worth mentioning, too. The ferrero crunch is a bit sweet for me though. My big reco is the banana caramel- Y-U-M-M-Y!!!
5 cows is located near the cinemas you won't miss it!

the place looks worn as it is so they don't need to
fix their "rugged" look but it's just the same old steak place my family has been going to for years.
the service is average, but average time your steak arrives is a little bit slow. so take your time at the soup and salad bar, you can go for rounds with the pasty cream of mushroom or the tacky salad.
the steaks are sized just right. although the fillet mignon is a little bit bitin for me. steaks here are hit or miss, sometimes the meat is hard, sometimes its chewy.
we just can't help going back because this place has been a family haunt through the years.
what i love: steak and prawns
what i hate: unattentive waiters, yucky salad bar, not much parking (located in the busy side of Malate)

the service was great, servers were attentive.
the mood light and casual.
for starters we had bruschetta, the rice croquettes and the smoked salmon salad which were surprisingly good esp the bruschetta.
for our pasta, i reco squid ink pasta, it may look like mud pero this one's probably their best
and shrimp and spinach gratin looks really appetizing but looks "nakakaumay."
the servings are big and meant to be shared.
i shall return, but with more friends.

pansit guisado is very good, they don't scrimp on ingredients. my mom loves the duck misua.
most of the items in the menu are classic favorites like pansit, misua, canton, kiampong, etc. the downside is being in the chinatown area, parking spaces are enough. its a small place but if you get lost just ask around, sincerity is quite famous in this community.
they also have a sister branch in paco called cafe la lotte with a more extensive menu and more parking. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

the service sucks, we ate there and it took a long time for them to get our order when the food arrived...
it sucked as well. quality was bad and the appetizers didn't look freshly-cooked. cold buffalo wings anyone?
i always liked chili's but i'm never going back to this branch again. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

- worth the travel to Binondo
- Golden Fortune Seafood Restaurant, Binondo
-
When you're in the binondo area, don't miss Golden Fortune. You can tell a good Chinese resto, based on the number of Chinese eating there. And this place is usually packed dinnertime and on weekends. If you don't good and authentic shabu-shabu, this is the real deal! The soup is tasty, the seafood and the veggies are fresh. And the servings are generous.Rating

If you're into dimsum, you won't get disappointed. The siomai is delicious and there are a lot of choices. Did I mention that they have discounts on dimsum 9 pm onwards? Noodles and congee are like 60 yata per order and dimsum is only P40.
