Best Steak we have so far

Me, my wife together with our three children went to Tagaytay for vacation last 04 Jan. 2011 and made reservation for lunch at Antonio's Restaurant.

My wife did all the arrangement so honestly I did not expect how expensive is it. Aside from the value everything are perfect especially the food, my wife and I, shared the porter house steak and jokingly said that we've finally agreed on something - best steak we have since we got married. I realized that value is proportionate to the food.

My eldest daughter (13) is also very happy.

My wife is now planning another trip to Tagaytay and Antonio's.

Very very good!

First off, I came into this place expecting small portions... as do most 5-star restos have small servings so you can get through the multi-course meal.

The salad we ordered was excellent. Fresh greens! Lightly sauced. Delicious!

Ordered the beef fillet. Excellent :)

Had the flourless chocolate cake to finish!

Overall, the place is pricey. If you're in LA, you can go to Ramsay's at The London for pretty much the same price. But we're in the Philippines, so we'll have to settle for a lesser know, but beautiful restaurant.

Now I'm hungry. I think I'll head out there with family now. :D

I forgot my Ipad when we ate breakfast last nov 1 2010, And we are the only customers on that time, its like we and the waiters only on that time we eat. When we left antonios going back to our hotel, i recall my Ipad that i left at Antonios, so we go back and hoping that my ipad still there. I was very dissapointedcoz they told me that they did not notice and see my ipad, its pretty obvious the we are the only customers on that time!!! Magnanakaw mga waiters dyan, You cannot trust them wen u forgot an item der. They are bunch of puro magnanakaw!

We just ate there yesterday for lunch with a group and sad to say, we were very disappointed. For lunch it took almost 3 hours just waiting for the food to be served to us. It was very disappointing.
I ordered a 'trio' & I needed a magnifying glass to appreciate what was served. Did not expect the serving to be so tiny. With the price, i expected a larger portion. If I were the owner of Antonio's I would be so embarassed to serve that little. Generally, i think the menu was overpriced. With that price I would rather go to Melo's, Mario's or even to any 5 star hotel in Manila.
The place is lovely though.
