To each his own. Chalies is for folks that appreciate beef and just pure beef.

I go to charlies to get a carwash and eat every week.

Their angus and wagyu burgers are best without condiments. Best i've ever had in manila. Wings are the best when eaten while crispy, beer is cheap given the wide selection, parking is difficult but manageable. Service is great. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Ambiance is ok because it's a carwash

Dear me, I must be stupid or something I guess coz I do prefer Wham and Jollibee's Champ over the Angus burger here? I need to have my brain and taste buds checked, LOL!

Kidding aside, I'd have to agree w/the ones who said this joint was overrated, I've dined here a couple of months ago and never came back. Ordered the black angus burger and a bottle of San mig light. The Burger was bland and dry, unlike of Wham's Bronco burger which is very juicy and has a smoky and nice taste. Champ was actually more juicier than this. The burgers here are miles away from Wham and/or Brothers. In terms of burgers, I'd rate this below Jollibee's Champ, same level w/Mcdonalds and Stackers but above Army Navy. I'd have to commed the beer though, it was really good, just the right temp, I think that's the below zero tech nowadays...

Service, it's quite good, staff is just right and the food came to us in like 20 mins., condiments are just outside, you could pick up what you want...

Ambiance, it's nice, lighting is cozy, kinda like an eat then drink atmosphere while you're car is being fixed outside. It's well airconditioned as well...

Value, good but not enough, I won't come back here unless someone treats me...

To Sgt.O, every two weeks so you don't over eat? what? I go to Wham once sometimes twice every week coz it's that good, I could care less about over eating or whatever...

For burgers w/the same price range but w/better tastes, there's Pit Lane Grub, Bite Club, Food Camp and Wham in Katipunan then there's Zarks, Malcolm's and BigBetterBurgers @ taft and there's also Burger project, Chili's and Boulevard Diner @ QC. Charlie's is almost like Army Navy, avoid these burger joints if you want a real good burger experience. If you really want to know what a real Angus beef tastes like, Eat a steak and not a damn burger. The integrity of the meat is lost when you grind it...

Wham?! Jolibee, McDonald's?! are you people stupid or something?!!! Your taste buds are so used to extender burgers that you can no longer taste the good stuff.

charlie's black angus burgers are by far the best i've been offered since i am a burger boy. in terms of flavor and stuff that go with it, you really get fresh ingredient versus the corn fed, e-coli, factory farmed fake-burgers of Wham, Jollibee and McDonalds.

The veggies that go with the burger perfectly complement the taste of REAL burgers. if you want just the beefy goodness. remove the veggies.

Parking is a challenge, just park down the street somewhere

The staff is very attentive and particular about customer service.

All my friends go there every 2 weeks to that we do not over eat on the goodness that is the Charlie's Burger.

Pure hype I'd say. My GF's brother told me bout this burger/sandwich joint and we decided to try even if it's raining. We order Black Angus burgers and Buffalo wings.

Burger tastes like... I dunno, Jollibee Champ has a better taste. good but not that good for it's price. Buffalo wings, very dry and bland tasting, sauce/coating was not good as well.

If you decide to come here, better go to Megamall or Shangri-la, they have Wham branches there. Just go to Wham for a very nice Burger experience...

Wowie and I were really excited to try this place out, especially after hearing that they served delicious burgers, hotdogs, and creamy milkshakes. I have read lots, and I mean lots of good reviews about this joint, saying that Charlie's Grind and Grill had juicy and extremely scrumptious burgers... therefore raising my expectations. I also learned that their executive chef was Rob Goco (of Cyma fame) so we were both looking forward to adding this place to our list of faves.

Since it was our first time here, we decided to order the basics... their black angus with fries (Php 175.00), a single bacon wrapped snap dawg (Php 160.00), and their strawberry milkshake (Php 150.00).

Sadly, my husband and I were extremely dissapointed with the food we ordered. In one word, I would have to say that their fare is OVERRATED. In my opinion, Wham's burgers and food are far better, juicier, and definitely way more delicious than theirs.

Personally, I even find Jollibee and McDonald's burgers better than what I had here. The black angus burger was terribly dry and bland. The burger bun was also dry and crumbly. The Snap Dawg didn't really have the "snap" I was looking for when you bite into a good hotdog. As for their strawberry milkshake... nah... wasn't a fan of it either... the whipped cream topping was served mushy... flavor... lacks it.

I honestly do not know if we're the only ones who didn't enjoy our meal at Charlie's, but I definitely don't see myself coming back, unless it's someone else's treat or if I don't have a choice.

Sorry
