Yummy Breakfast and Good Italian Food!

Waking up on a Monday morning in Subic, we had breakfast at Aresi since it came with our room reservation at the Court Meridian Hotel. Wowie ordered the Filipino Breakfast of Chicken Pork Adobo, and I had the American Breakfast with Bacon, Eggs, and Fried potatoes. They're known for serving really scrumptious Italian food, so I wasn't really intending to write a review about our simple plated breakfast there.

When our orders came, Ok... the usual. Let's eat. Starving really. When I took a bite of my fried potatoes.. yum! I know it was just simple fried potatoes, but it was cooked and seasoned to perfection! As you can see in the photo, there were only a few pieces on the plate... but it was so delicious promise! Hehehe... so much fuss over fried potatoes.

The eggs were also cooked properly... yum... bacon... it would've been nice if I had more, but the serving size was in fact, just right. Even the fried tomato was good. Weird of me, but I found it really good. I've had way too many plated breakfasts, none memorable or worth writing a review on, same old, same old. I know it looks ordinary but in terms of flavor, this one definitely stands out :-)

I took a bite of Wowie's Chicken Pork Adobo... Yum-O as well! I know the chef or cook whips up way fancier dishes for the restaurant, but I'm happy that they can get the basics spot-on :-) Chicken Pork Adobo and Fried Potatoes are just so commonplace that it is overlooked most of the time and not given that much attention. I salute Aresi for being a restaurant that serves yummy basic meals from breakfast to dinner, to late night chows!

An dine-in to remember

Coco Lime was introduced to us by the franchisees of Max's Restaurant, respectively Mr and Mrs. Oscar Santos.

The foods were great especially their "bulalo"...they have this korean style spareribs, pineapple fried rice, delicious Fresh fruit shakes, bagoong-alamang fried rice.

As you can see, the Coco Lime's staff were very attentive and polite. The service is fast.

The ambiance was very cozy and homey as if you were in a different place...maybe because the Asian-inspired look of the place. The have this play area for the kids.

Beside the restaurant, there is a Coffee shop..The Bread they have different coffees from hot and cold... their pastries and breads that are best paired to their coffees. It is great to have some coffee after eating at Coo Lime!

This is a must-try!
