3 star since i haven't been there for almost 5 years now or more... so i don't know there service anymore.
this used to be one of my very favorite place to eat. until they always don't have sashimi. i love their buffet. but problem is... sashimi is sometimes not available. although we have another place to go for buffet now... i still remember this place that we used to go...
So many Christmases with family and friends are held here at Dads Megamall.
Every year, the buffet line up gets bigger, and bigger, really gets you in that Holiday festive mood and bonding with your loved ones.
We in the family are hearty eaters so we so love the DADS roast ham, turkey, roast beef the most , specially for us it's our main Christmas & New Year food. But my cousins love Kamayan lechon de leche, it's the buffet highlight for them not just during the holidays but all year round..hahaha. My sisters who are now more into Japanese food loves the extensive sushi and rolls choices at Saisaki sushi bar. And I was so delighted to join them for some wonderful japanese barbecue, called robatayaki, but our most liked of all is the temaki those salmon, mango, crab rolled in a conelike seaweed...oh so delicious! Plus sweets of course so timely in this season to be jolly ! chocolate fondue, crepes, mini cakes and pastries, cookies, halo halo, buko pandan! No other place can you find so many delicious food all together, the best place to celebrate the holidays and just hang out and bond with families and friends.
Me and the family have tried all their buffets, lunch, meriyenda, & dinner!
All our special occasions, celebrated here too! even casual meetings with friends & peers.
Almost all staff, we know them by their first names and vice versa. They are one of the most efficient and gracious people we met in the restaurant service.
And now, a new and precious addition to the family has just arrived. We plan ahead...because some of the relatives are from outside manila...but when they, and friends have been asked for suggestions...they always remember the parties we had at Dads, and they say our princess' baptism will be more special there too.
And so the date is set , with the help of the ever warm and helpful staff of Dads. From the theme...to the freebies and the delicious menu, we are happy and stress free from all the preparation. so excited we are all!
Our Christmas committee is again so happy. We head off to Dads Megamall last week to book our yearly Christmas party (which was hosted by Dads for 3 consecutive years now). As ever we are never disappointed. The staff are so gracious and helpful in choosing the best buffet package at a very reasonable package price. The menu line up is as impressive as last year, with more new choices for Christmas favorites, our favorites pinoy christmas dishes, japanese food that we love and of course ham, and roast beef, pasta and cakes from dads. This early, we are already excited for our ultimate christmas buffet party this year!
me and my friends decided to try this buffet just last week. We never expect to see something that a restaurant must have. (cockroach in the food and running big rodent). Many people saw the rodent and the time that it happened i wana throw up all food that i ate.
Time has flown so fast.
I remember my very first visit to Dads, I was then only a freshman in high school. Birthdays, baptismals, homecoming of families, relatives and friends were through the years with Dads.
Now my baby girl is turning 1 soon and her party will be at DADS megamall, coz i really want it to be special for her and our invited guests.
With the line up of numerous buffet choices i know our friends and relatives will love it here...
They have all-time favorites that are always the highlights of our celebration, lechon de leche, sushi, sashimi, ebi tempura, ham, pasta, marinara, halohalo, puto bumbong, bibingka...even our balikbayan relatives will be so happy. And the great service their staff provides has been tried and tested for so many years, we are really at home here, and happy for the many years of dining together.
Dont be fooled by stuff being given to you...its not free you pay for it. I took my friends and there were only 3 of us guess how much I paid? 2700 pesos, I didnt even eat a lot. And the food is not that good. Way too noisy service is ok not great for being billed as high as they did to me. The wet paper towel they are handin you once you sit down. You'll pay for it. dont fall for their drinks, sky rocket high! Definitely will not recommend. Will be shameful to even mention it to your friend or acquiantance.
My brothers brought me to DADS Megamall for a treat today, and with 4 big brothers, with big appetites, the place was just perfect!
They told me to forget about my dieting just for today..hahaha!
The place was really full not just with diners but with great, great food!
3 buffet in all ....wow! I saw my brothers go to different directions ...one immediately got lechon, the other to the roast beef area, and my 2 other Kuya, who love ebi tempura so much was already in line. Well me, I made a bee line towards the sushi area..why because the many, many, colorful rolls were calling me...hahaha...most are new, and there's so many of them...i love the Saisaki roll with cream cheese in it..and all the spicy ones too! Then I tried the seafood dishes, the tuna pesto was so perfect, it is one of my favorites now, then I never fail to ask for the cook to make me marinara, and what he made was just wonderful! Well my brothers and I, we just love food, and we finished it with clean plates! to the very last bite and crumbs! yehey! But not to forget that we cap it off with our favorite sweetie...the halo halo as dessert. I just love it when my brothers spoil me as always. Thanks mga Kuya.
It's been years since our batch gathered up for a reunion. We've been waiting for our classmates who are already based abroad. And finally they are in Manila, and our schedules matched.
Since most of them are missing the best Filipino food, the group suggested the all time favorite Pinoy restaurant - Kamayan! And it's part of the DADS Ultimate Buffet now so there are a LOT of cuisine choices. It's our group's very special occasion so the the more food, the merrier! Our balikbayan classmates were truly impressed. Not only did they enjoy their favorite kare kare, adobo, seafood soup, lechon, bibingka, buko pandan but there are also a wonderful spread of sushi, sashimi, tempura at the Saisaki Buffet and delectable ham, roast beef, paella, pasta dishes at the Dads buffet. It was so festive and we enjoyed every minute of our celebration. With the warm service at Dads we truly felt at home. We are going to look forward to more happy reunions like this one.
After crazy days of shopping last December, my family never fails to go to DADS Megamall for lunch or dinner. And wow, we are so hungry, after hours and hours of walking around the mall. What I actually look forward to is the eating afterwards.
We like it here, because all our buffet favorites are all in one place na, me i like the most is Saisaki, my parents like Kamayan, my sisters like all three buffet! For a hungry bunch like us, DADS is always the best place. And a plus is the familiar, bright and friendly ambiance and the very attentive staff.
After a stressful day sa office, my officemates and I decided to eat again at DADS!
And as always, being there makes us forget our woes and problems. As usual the warm staff are always welcoming to us. And they already know our favorite table near the Kamayan buffet ! We've been frequenting this branch ever since our office transferred near the Megamall area. All the food we like are here at a very, very affordable price. The ambiance is great, and with familiar and friendly staff. We have celebrated a lot of great and memorable events here.
your waiter named REY ( the stabble guy one) was the most sarcastic waiter we've encounter at your restaurant, has a very jurrasic manner to your regular costumers like us. maybe you should start training or teaching your staff especially that waiter REY to have some good manners towards your regular costumers...how can you employ people like him , in your line of business, who has no manners and fights back to your costumers....we are very very disappointed and disgraced last night...if a costumer leaves your restaurant after having a nice dinner you should say either thank you or goodnight with a smile not GOODLUCK sarcastically !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Aunt and her family just arrived from the States for the holidays. And last week I was appointed to be their food tour guide...hehehe!
DADS Megamall was the first to come to my mind. Of course, my family here and friends, we had all our wonderful memories and celebration at DADS. From my nieces and nephews baptisms, kiddie parties...to my Ate Lyn's wedding, and of course office functions and events.
And I'm glad I chose DADS, kasi my Aunt was so impressed! There were 11 of us last week, and the staff were very gracious and attentive to us, familiar faces na kasi we are always there. They arranged the table to conveniently accommodate our group of 11.
We chose to have Ultimate Buffet para three-in-one na! Since my Aunt's family is from the US, I guided them first to the Kamayan buffet section...wow Lechon! and Kare Kare! My relatives miss those...and then we got lots, and lots of sushi and maki rolls from Saisaki, and I got lots of servings of my favorite ebi tempura! heaven! DADS of course have our pasta favorites!!! and our newly discovered chicken souvlaki and other new dishes. Plus the dessert of cakes, pastries, ice creams, fruits and my Aunt's favorite, buko pandan!!! yum yum!
I requested the cumbacheros to serenade my dear Aunt with Tagalog songs...which they did perfectly...In the middle of the songs...my Aunt got teary eyed...maybe because of she misses these things...and brought some very warm wonderful memories..here with her family back home. It was so nice ...that day at DADS.
I took the family to Dad's to Celebrate Thanksgiving. It turn out it was the best Thanksgiving I've had since being in country for seven years now. The restaurant was clean, the serves was excellent and the food was delicious with so many choices.
Now the negative part. The drinks didn't come with the meal. I ordered six ice teas for my family and was not made aware of the extra cost. While I was eating I notice some groups of people drinking only water and found out why, when I got the bill. I think they should incorporate a beverage island and make it part of the meal.
The first thing I look for is the salad bar, after walking around several times I couldn't find it, so I asked, they point me to this small section that was so small I didn't even recognize as a salad bar.
I would eat there again, but only on special occasions, like Thanksgiving, if drinks became part of the meal I'd eat there more often. Here's what my receipt looked like:
