Tea house?

2

I just recently ate at their branch in SM Mall of Asia. Im an acid tea drinker and was all excited to find out about david's tea house since its actually a "tea house" where I can indulge in tea heaven, apart from their dimsum.

To my dismay, when browsing the menu, the ONLY tea they have is an Iced Lemon Tea.. not exactly what it says in the name of the restaurant. They might want to think about changing the name of their restaurant so as not to GRAVELY DISAPPOINT tea drinkers like me.

shabu-shabu

what sets this place apart is the shabu-shabu. the squid balls, pork mushroom balls n dumplings are very good, not the kind u get at other places that taste generic. but the key here is their soup, sate in particular, that make their shabu shabu better than others. now for the bad news, u have to pay for everything, yep, thats right. i mean the sate sauce, garlic, raw chili, etc. which, depending on how much u consume will jack up your bill. they dont have set menus, unlike other restos so choose wisely. but the prices are reasonable compared to others. the ala carte dishes they offer are ok, not outstanding. so if u have a craving for hot soup, u cant go wrong with this place.
