Juicy Chicken

Their chicken is one of my favorites. I also like their side dishes, especially the salsa and the rice. Overall it's a great value for your money.

Great food! Great Value!

While Jesse's comments may hold true. El Pollo Loco here in the Philippines may not have the same "stuff" as the original, I would not fault it on them. I have tasted the one in California. I would just say that it is different and should not be compared... just different.

I love El Pollo Loco. It is a different twist to Fried Chicken and Lechon Manok. I always have it with tortill and never with rice.

Old Megamall Favorite

2

El Pollo Loco kept its store location since Megamall opened when I was in high school. The grilled chicken has been consistent in taste. I always eat it with tortilla and salsa -- making my own burrito. Their yellow rice is awesome. Not dry nor flaky. Always served hot, even if it's housed in a cheap white plastic cup. What I dearly miss is their baked beans. Can't make a decent burrito without it. We make do with the pineapple-ny tasting coleslaw. The hotness of the salsa evens out its sweetness. Heck, if the ambience is like the old Cindy's.
