The food was average. The customer service was average. In other words, our eating experience was forgettable!

But this was NOT the reason why I’m writing this review. Something beyond our gastronomical expectation happened! And you’ll never guess it. My friends and I were caught by surprise by this itsy-bitsy-black-bikini scene at Little Quiapo!

While we were eating, two tables away from us, a furious man stood up from his chair and started shouting at the old fat waiter. The male customer screamed at the waiter, “Bastos ka eh! Kanina ka pa, sinisilipan mo ang misis ko!” The waiter was stunned and just denied what he was accused of. On the other hand, his female partner tried to make the waiter guiltier and asked him, “Wala ka bang anak na babae?” With this cinematic scene, naturally all the customers just stopped from eating and looked at them with full-view curiosity. The other waiters got near them, the manager tried to pacify the fuming customer and the security guard hurriedly went inside. Upon seeing the security guard, the irate man turned its wrath on the armed guard, “O ano? Bubunot ka? Ha?!” His wife tried to calm him down by pulling him away. The angry customer even got to instruct his wife, “Tawagan mo si ano! Tawagan mo si ano!” (We were actually waiting for him to drop a name but he never got to say anything high-ranking-ish. Hahaha!) The mad patron was infuriated at the old fat waiter because he caught him staring at his wife’s undies sticking out of her pants. But what really got him so enraged (and what had really got us jumped out of our seats from laughing out loud LOL) was when the waiter started singing this all-time beerhouse hit song. The angry man pointed it out best at the waiter, “Kumakanta-kanta ka pa ng BIKINING ITIM!” Bwahahaha!

Moving forward, the angry customer was escorted outside the restaurant while still cursing at the old fat waiter. This waiter together with other restaurant crews was talking about what happened and still had the nerve to deny the customer’s allegation. (We could attest that the waiter was really singing that infamous beerhouse novelty song. And it’s a no-brainer to know what he meant by that. LOL) As the beerhouse scene was over, my friends and I still just couldn’t stop snickering at that bikini-fetish-waiter. Bwahahaha! My friends even got stomach cramps from so much giggling. We couldn’t help but hear inside our minds that unforgettable jukebox song. Even after our dinner and after we went home, we’re still laughing at the most recent scene-stealing scenario at Little Quiapo. We only want a good hearty dinner but we got more than what we’d bargained for. Moreover, we couldn’t help but wonder, what’s the waiter’s next hit song would be after “Bikining Itim”? ”Modelong Charing”? Bwahahaha!

So the next time you hear the song, “Bikining Itim”, you know where to eat! Bwahahaha!!!
