Among the best Kare Kare in town! The sauce is so good that I can't get enough of it, plus the bagoong is not that salty that it does not overpower the sauce. Also they have solo servings that enables you to order a couple of food items without really feeling the price. So my gf and I were able to order the kare kare plus two cups of rice and paella. A sumptuous dinner indeed!

Will try their version of crispy pata next time.

Also kudos to Joseph the server who was very approachable and attended to our many needs.

Good job!

Nasty after taste!

2

Visiting Manila, we wanted to have something Filipino, and between this and Mesa, we chose this, as this one had a table inside and we liked 4 items out of their menu. The service was great, staff were polite and attentive.

We were told about their "best sellers". After we ordered our drinks, the waitress came back to take our main orders, all 4 dishes that we came for were unavailable. By this time, our drinks were on the way so it was too late to leave. Didnt wanna pay P400 just for drinks only to walk out and leave, plus we were hungry. we all settled on something else in the menu only to be told 2 of these other items were unavailable! it would been nice if we were told this in the just as we were told about their best sellers! Then we could have decided to eat elsewhere! My kids had the ribs, if you don't like sweet - this isn't for you. I had the lengua estofada- nothing great. The worst of all, their bangus belly in bagoong covered glass noodles and kangkong - the bagoong completely took over the entire meal and left a nasty aftertaste. I like salt but this was ridiculous. Out of the many restos in Greenbelt 5, I suggest saving yourself from the disappointment and go elsewhere. Only redeeming factor was the speedy service.

From Fely J's to Lorenzo's Way...

As we can't get over how good Fely J's food is - we continued our restaurant-hop with our ex-pat bosses to yet another Filipino restaurant. Again, what great, delicious food we had. My co-worker even promised to bring her BF here (as if he's already in our country -- he's out in the sea!!!).

Service has been very very good too. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Please spread your good food althroughout the country! (hint: Ortigas, QC, Manila, Baguio City please....)

As part of the LJC chain, quality is a given. We were quite a large group but the food was served just in the right time.

The bartender here know what he is doing.

Good!

Great Dining Experience with Family

4

Yes. Lorenzo's Way is the perfect place for the whole family to dine (specially dinner) on a Sunday after a tiring yet enjoyful stroll of Greenbelt area and nearby malls. This is also where the bestsellers of LJC Restos are served. Try to be stunned by their "Knockout Knuckle". This is their version of the crispy pata.

I advice you go here with a big appetite so you can fully enjoy their offerings. Great value for money is no question. Definitely worth every wampun. But don't expect to have a quiet environment as this place is fluxed to the brink. Meaning, you'll have to wait for available seats once you arrive there without reservatons. So better call them first to avoid waiting.

Overall--- Must go!

Luv the Clams...

We had dinner last night, Sept 4 @ Lorenzo's Way. T'was really cool. Staffs were very attentive despite the in flow of customers. Although we were seated outside. T'was still okay cause you still get the same kind of service. Food was good especially the Clams Malaguena. It went well with their mixture of pine nuts and I guess t'was smoked ham or parma ham not so sure though. I love their rice cooked in bamboo. Actually we should have ordered plain rice because the rice in bamboo had too much "thing" going on with the taste. It has chicken, shrimps, shitake mushrooms and bamboo shoots. The Shrimp with Hollandaise sauce were so-so, nothing spectacular but still t'was good. Hope this restaurant continues to serve with a smile.

Was surprised that most of the tables here were reserved. We arrived 11:30am on a weekday and the place was half full when we left an hour after. Had the onion soup and I tell you I've tasted better. The La Mancha was average. Shared the tilapia with a friend. The menu stated it was "fried" so I was expecting that it would be fried to a crisp and one can even eat the bones like chicharon. The tilapia was served "butterfly" fashion similar to that of Abe's. Sadly, it was just average. The fermented rice sauce didn't do much to add to it's ordinary taste.
Drinks arrived halfway through our meal. The staff aren't that attentive either. Save yourself the trip and go to Fely J's (same owner) instead.
