I visited Mom & Tina's twice already. During my first visit, I went here with a friend and we tried a lot of their pastries and the lasagna. They were actually good. I particularly liked their Hershey's Kisses Brownie, Baked Oreo Cheesecake, and White Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Their Chicken Spinach Lasagna was also mouthwatering although the serving size can be too small for heavy eaters.
The place feels very homey too. It has a very bright and relaxing ambiance that feels so comforting. However, the service of the waiters is just unacceptable and is truly annoying. They do not know how to listen to their customers and they were absolutely grumpy, unapproachable, and incompetent.
However, what seemed to redeem the shop from a getting a one-star rating for service from me is the honesty of some of the staff. I left my sunglasses in their store and they looked for it and tried to get in touch with me so I could claim it from them. That's really something.
Anyway, on my next visit, I had a box of their cupcakes and muffins and I thought that the cupcakes were not as good as expected. Nonetheless, the chocolate cupcakes were really very pleasant. Try their Chocolate Fudge and Mocha Fudge Cupcakes. They're among the best I've tasted. They seem to have perfected the chocolate cake recipe.
Overall, I think there's still some value for money here albeit the bad service.

We frequently dine at Mom and Tina's and we just held our grandmother's 91st birthday there. With the laid-back atmosphere and the aroma of freshly baked pastries and brewed coffee welcoming every guest who enters the door you could actually feel that you are in a country-style home. The interior is superbly decorated with lush sofas that you can sit comfortably while you enjoy their home-grown meals. I simply love the roses wall paper and the blue and white wares that is displayed on the shelves of the wall. You could actually feel the warmth of your own home there and I noticed that families with the company of small children frequents the place just like us.
My 1-year old son and my 91-year old grandmother loves the place as much as they love the Turkey Macaroni Soup and the Shepherd's Pie. It's their all time favorite. I love their Mango Kani Salad- it's a crab meat extenders and mango slices on top of a bed of fresh and crispy greens, I think it's the Asian Dressing that makes it more yummy. Chicken Spinach Lasagna and Chicken Alexander is always present in our table together with Callos. Those are our family's favorite. If there's no room left for dessert, we just have sinfully delicious cakes for takeaway. Mango Walnut Torte and Double Chocolate Mousse are my favorites.Their Toblerone Walnut Torte in Regular, White and Dark are so tempting also and are best paired with Freshly brewed coffee. I am just thinking about those heavenly indulgences right now and I am happy we are going to eat there again for the Nth time tomorrow.
