I was a fan for quite sometime...

When Mr. Choi first opened its doors to the public in Robinson's Galleria, my mom and I thought it would be nice to try their food. And during the first visit, we ordered Baked Seafood in White Sauce rice. It was yummy! I really enjoyed the taste and its was served really, really, really hot that I almost burnt my taste buds. My mom also ordered Seafood Roll and before they had the Vegetable Spring Roll, there was the yummy Spring Roll with lots of meat and mushrooms! yum!

Also tried their other dimsum, like the Pork and Shrimp Siomai which was also good, our favorite their Crispy Seafood Noodle. Their Steamed Fish, Sweet and Sour Pork were also good.

But of course, there came a time that we had to cut down on Chinese Food intake and try something else. I'll still be a fan of Mr. Choi.

Mr. Choi,...good but not great

My wife who loves Chinese food highly recommended the place and besides I’m a sucker for chicken feet. She was right, the food was good but not great, and the price is not bad. If you plan to have lunch there, try to get a reservation, it’s packed during lunch; the last time we were there we had to wait about forty minutes before we got a table.

There is Room for Improvement

It was our 2nd time to eat dinner here. My husband liked the pan-fried oyster cake. It was served with tomato catsup. It was Ok, nothing special. The sweet and sour fish fillet was a little too crunchy for us. We liked the buttered beef tenderloin. The beef was served in diced portions and tasted like Zong's General Tso's Chicken. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was nice and fluffy and did not scrimp on the ingredients. They also offer a half serving of the fried rice, which was OK, since we could not consume a whole serving of a second platter. I liked the green mango shake which was made with the right combination of sweetness and sourness. Other restos have sour varieties. Prices are reasonable which is probably why the place is always packed especially on weekends. Thus, waiters are always up on their toes which is why service is slow. My husband asked for a glass of water 4 times before he was served.
