i had a very wonderful late lunch here with my hubby. we ordered nasi goreng, char kwae cheow, poh pia and chicken satay. the nasi goreng was so good. ambiance is just okay, it was similar to singapore foodcourts. service is not so okay but will definitely be coming back for the food :)
my husband and i went to amici in atc last week and we tried linguine al prosciutto, it was so good we re-ordered and forgot our diet.this afternoon, i was craving for the linguine al prosciutto of amici so my hubby and i went there, i was so hungry and excited to feast on the pasta.to my dismay, we were served spaghetti instead of li...nguine, i asked the crew why we were served spaghetti when we ordered for linguine pasta, according to him they ran out of linguine in which it is their responsibility to inform the customers ahead of time that they are out of it and will be using a different pasta (which they did not do!...i only eat spaghetti pasta with filipino red sauce!), and they used bacon instead of prosciutto(ham), and the pasta was not drained properly so we were served with spaghetti al bacon drowning in pasta water!it tasted a lot different from what we had last week since this one had a strong bacon flavor. i did not complain anymore since we were very hungry but promised not to come back. i was so unhappy with what amici alabang did, if they do not have the prosciutto that time, they should not have offered the linguine al prosciutto. what they were after was just to serve the customers even if it meant compromising the quality. i paid for something i did not enjoy....this happened november last year, then 2 days ago we passed by this branch, my sister went in to see their gelatos on display, she ordered a scoop from the crew and the girl crew sarcastically said "cashier ako dun kayo umorder", unbelievable! my sister was so fast in entering the store so i was not able to warn her with our exprerience with amici atc. this branch is horrible i even posted the review on their fb account but did not get a reply, i guess such service is their standard
meat literally falls off the bone (bones are soooo tender you can actually eat them). clam chowder is to die for! i love this place....cozy ambience, inexpensive....i keep coming back for more.hope you open branches in moa and alabang....
my husband and i met with my cousin to talk about family thing here at azul...we asked the waiter re their portions, according to him paella and the baked clams and mussels would be more than enough for us, i believed him so considering the paella cost a thousand bucks. when the food was served, it was obviously not enough for the three of us, the clams and mussels were too small, the clams could fit a child's nose! so i ordered an additional lengua and was expecting it to be good since its a filipino spanish restaurant, but to my dismay the lengua was so malansa like the paella. since i can cook i could taste that they only used dari creme for their baked clams and mussels (its okay to use dari creme, but man their restaurant is so expensive for what they serve and the way customers are served!...we all had strawberry iced tea for drinks. while we were all talking i was smelling something foul, it smelled like cockroach, i could not concentrate on what we were talking about since while i was listening to what my cousin was saying at the same time i was trying to find out where the smell was coming from. i smelled the table side but it was not there, i smelled the straw, it was not there, then i figured out it was my glass that smelled like cockroach! i had already consumed half glass of the iced tea! i complained to the staff, the waiter did not apologize, he just changed it and gave me a smaller glass of iced tea, probably because i already consumed half of the cockroach flavored iced tea i returned to them...i just didnt want to argue since we were in a middle of a serious talk but i am definitely not coming back to this place and would advise everyone i know not to come. with a bill of P2000 it was like throwing money in thin air in short WALANG KAKWENTA KWENTA!
i had my first taste of kitaro yesterday but the service was terrible, i am never coming back!!! i ordered for a complete meal with soup, my husband ordered katsudon...we waited for eons, then the customer who came in last was served with miso soup ahead of us, then came my 12pc california maki served with half teaspoon of kikoman and booger sized wasabi i kept asking for extra kikoman but it never came...my food was served, when i put the yakisoba in my mouth, nandiri ako, it was so cold as if i was kissing a cat's nose and so is the bean sprouts. i had to ask the waitress to microwave it who even said it was not that cold while ponting to the vegetables on my plate with a hair like distance between my food and her index finger, it took so long before it came out we still had to follow up, when it came, yakisoba was hot, the bean sprouts was still as cold as a cadaver and the skewered chicken was already cold since it took so long before it came out...then the last customer who came was served katsudon, again ahead of us, then the customer checked his food using his chopsticks and realized it was not what he ordered so he returned it, then it was served to us by the stupid waitress. i asked her to change it but requested her to leave that bowl beside our table to make sure they would not serve the same katsudon that the other customer poked using his chopstick and kept talking in front of the open bowl. after our katsudon was served she got the old katsudon and served it to ther diners, yuck!!! they could be featured in kitchen nightmares...the red iced tea was so bland, it tasted like red water with sugar!!! we paid P600 for a carinderia like food and service! it truly sucks!
my husband and i went to this place, he loved the pinalutong na bangus.the skin was so divine ang sarap but then the store smelled like ipis. when we dined there we were then only customer, what the crews did was to occupy the table next to us, then they all ate their ulam which was ginataang kuhol, they were eating with their hands and the sound of them while making sipsip to the kuhol was absolutely annoying and disgusting, they were all very noisy telling stories to each other and my husband and i looked like gate crashers in a party. i am never coming back to this branch. i love the food but the crews are annoying.
i love the tuna steak when my family and i visited aling tonya's restaurant paluto so we came back and ordered tuna steak again but this time it was too salty that we could not not eat it, we let it pass kasi sometimes kahiya magreklamo.when we came back it was too sour and the next time too salty hehehe that was it. we nevber came back. it was not just the tuna steak, all the paluto taste different every time kakatawa better pa buy na lang raw ikaw na lang magluto.
i went to this branch around 2 weeks ago, there were around 3 tables occupied but nobody were ordering at the counter except me and my driver. i ordered for 48 packs 1pc chicken all original with rice, without drink for take out, and 2 orders 1 pcs chicken with regular drink for dine in. i was told by the gay crew that it will take 20min before it can be done, so it was okay since my driver and i would still eat. there were around 2 customers who ordered after us, after eating, i went to the toilet, then wait outside to smoke. then had a chat with my driver etc etc in short i did not notice that we have been waiting there for so long already and the styro containers which have been ready to be filled were still not filled.i asked the crew how much longer will it take, he said in a few min, then thats the only time they crammed to prepare my order when all they did earlier was to chat and this stupid lady manager did nothing but wipe the walls in the kitchen when obviously there was a lot to finish. after a longer wait i got pissed off and asked for the stupid manager who did not talk nor even looked at me, later on i found out nobody cooked the chicken while we were waiting for so long. when i was so mad and told them how inneficient they were, what they did was to give a hot and spicy chicken instead of my original order. because i was in a hurry since the food was for the attendees of our meeting at a nearby hospital, i accepted it coz i had no choice. then because of hurry they even dropped the chickens on the floor when they were about to give us our order...i could not forget how this lady manager looked, she is a very inefficient manager and totally useless in the store!
the crew are so disorganized! all of them still do not know how to run the store properly, laging kagulo! considering the fact na most crews have been working there for so long na! "a lot of customers" is always their excuse! pwede ba magbago bago na kayo im sure pag may lumabas na competitor ang chowking na kayang magtayo ng outlets beside all chowking outlets paniguradong babagsak kayo! ang dumi ng mga utensils nyo etc......wala lang malapit lapit na chinese resto na affordable kaya pinapasok to ng customers
i love the lengua. it's my first time to appreciate this dish! but their bestselling cake, mango bravo is not that good, it only looks appealing. when it comes to cakes, becky's kitchen pa rin. inexpensive pa!
i once had lunch here with my bro in law. i ordered linguini(pesto)...i asked for an extra pesto but mistakenly said to the waiter to give me an extra pesto cream, he laughingly told me while other diners were looking "mam hind po pesto cream yun, baka pesto!" which made me feel stupid.
