EXCELLENT food, service and place

4

Weekdays cost 380 per head. Weekend costs 480 pesos per head. You can also have beer and liquor all you can and pulutan all you can. Before anything else, you have to make reservations before going there because the place is always full of people. No tables and chairs were empty.

The food is VERY VERY GOOD.
It was really a BLAST. Every single food is great specially the US Angus beef, the lechon, actually all the food served were really great. If people here are health conscious, you better not eat here just eat in a vegetarian place so that you will not whine about the fat (it's so irritating for you to comment that the food were fatty etc.) but if you really want to enjoy food which is very tasty, you better try here.

The waiters and people are friendly and very hospitable. I asked for a new set of utensils, and within seconds i had new ones. No waiter was eating from the buffet. The people wearing barong were the real waiters. Those in white were HRM students having their OJT there so maybe what these people saw before were the students munching.

One of the BEST restaurants I have tried. I will go definitely again here. Four stars for me.

not good.

Food was not good. oily lahat at hindi masarap. Pang-buffet ang lasa.
Dessert iba-iba itsura, pare-pareho lasa.
Service, parang hindi trained sa customer service lahat. nananakit na boses ko kakatawag ng waiter ayaw pa lumapit.

Nice Place, disappointing food....: (

1

Good location, plenty of safe parking space within and nearby, nicely renovated classic Filipino house.

Food however is very disappointing. At P600++ per head (excluding drinks) for a dinner buffet is expensive for a restaurant that offers mainly, cheap, fat & oily food comparable to "carinderia's at turo turos".
Carving station offers only high in fat, unedible skin liempo. Sun dried looking lechon manok. Sign says lechon de leche but I didn't see any, (I arrived 7:40pm and stayed till 10:00pm).
The main entree, slow roasted angus beef appeared only once (is that why it's called slow?) where in the whole serving was only about 2 kilos cooked and half of it are fat, plainly not enough to serve to everyone.

Aside from the fruit, the rest of the desserts tasted alike, from puto to pastries to maha blanca. I came to realize only after my dessert that there are also dry and old looking appetizers inside the bar area leading to the gents room and also another buffet table inside a room opposite the bar are pizza's that don't look yummy either.

The waitresses wearing yellow Filipiniana are all problematic looking, they don't even smile as you enter, must be over worked, underpaid perhaps.

Despite reading this and still you want to try it?, go ahead and write a review after to substantiate my claim, don't forget to bring xenical. But if you are treating for a celebration, better go elsewhere, mapapahiya ka lang sa bisita mo.

Disappointed with one of the servers

2

I was really excited to try out their buffet as I've heard about the concept of Casa Filipino. Some of the Filipino dishes are made with a twist to make it modern and refreshing. However, everything went really downhill when the lady server at the meat station returned a very sour mood while serving the meat. This really turned me off and because of it I lost my appetite. She looks very sour and grouchy and perhaps shouldn't be in that station serving the customers with a frown and a certain smug on her face. I guess because of that I wouldn't go back to this restaurant again. Imagine a single employee can ruin the reputation of a restaurant that serves a good buffet.
