The service sucks compared 3 years ago! The quality in terms of taste, amount or size/serving, presentation, choices of side dish is limited, meat not well cooked and counters directional sign is not clear! overall! way way way below what we expect from a Kenny Rogers restaurant! Hey Kenny management! do you even check your Festival Mall store! I suggest you meet with your staff daily and don't stop finding ways to improve the overall quality of your branch! conduct random surveys! continuous monitoring of the operation! I hope this review will help you improve.Rating

On or around 11:30 AM today, August 13, 2008 my friend and I decided to eat lunch at Kenny Rogers Festival Mall. I ordered two (2) Solo A combos. Having paid the bill, I was given a number tag (no. 23). We looked for a table and chatted as we waited for the food to be served.
After about 10 minutes, i called the attention of a dine-in crew to check our order. I showed him (Roy) the number. He came back quickly and said "ise-serve na po, sir."
We continued chatting. Starting to feel the hunger, i called again the attention of another crew and gestured upward the number tag. That was about 2o minutes after my initial reminder to Roy. Again, the crew came back with the same line, "ise-serve na po, sir.."
We stopped chatting as we began feeling the hunger more strongly. i checked my watched and it was already 12:44pm. i went straight to the counter and asked the cashier where my orders were. She (lorie gamao) asked me to wait as she was entertaining another costumer in front of her. I begged off as I already waited long enough. Readily, she asked another counter crew to check on my orders. After quickly checking on the food being prepared, he told the cashier (lorie) that there was no food being prepared for my number (23). Lorie, still entertaining the costumer in front of her, asked me to fall in line (again).
I told her NO and demanded that the manager to talk to me. Right away the assistant store manager (arlene palermo) came by and asked me what my problem was. i told her the whole thing. she again checked the food being prepared by the counter crew. realizing that there was none being prepared for me, she asked me what my orders were.
i burst in huge anger and asked her, "you've let me wait for an hour and now you will ask me what my orders are? you mean, i am actually waiting for nothing?"
she promptly told me, "sir, we will just give you back your money.."
that infuriated me even more! on top of my voice, i asked her, "what? you will just give me back my money and expect me to leave your store just like that? and you want me to thank you for at least giving me back my money?"
she said sorry, but i did not accept it.
i am a costumer who was maltreated. we went hungry and actually waited for nothing. i was asked to fall in line again. i was told that my money would just be given back... that was highly insulting!
here are the information:
name of store : kenny rogers
place: festival mall
assistant store manager: Arlene Palermo
cashier: Lorie Gamao
time of incident: 11:45-1:00 PM

TO DTI:
i wish that something could be done about this. this is the second time this happened. the first time was my friend two weeks ago. but he did not bother to raise issue about this practice.
i will not take this just like that.
i will be waiting for your reply... - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

On May05, 2008,we were about to eat lunch at this restaurant. It was already past 12 noon. My husband fall in line in one of the cashiers to pay our for our orders while I made myself sitted. He was the next person to be served while another woman was next to my husband. To my surprise, after several minutes of waiting, he came to me and told me to leave the place. It so happened that when it's my husband's turn, he was told by the cashier named Ivy to fall in line to the next cashier as he was not in the proper line! while she was already attending to the person next to my husband! I confronted her and looked for the manager. The Manager was even apologetic and told us to be sitted and our orders will be served. We left the place anyway! It's not a good place to dine in! will never go back to that restaurant!Rating
