Well unlike most reviews me and my boyfie didn't have trouble with the service in greenbelt. Good food! Casual ambiance. I dont know how it compares to authentic greek but i loved the moussaka!

Wanted to go here but after reading the other reviews wondered what it would be like..we hate slow inattentive service coupled with poor food. Took the family to lunch last saturday, me , mrs two young kids. The reception was warm and we were seated immediately eventhough it was quite busy. we ordered artichoke cheese fondue, tuna salad, chicken wraps and a chocolate dessert, a specialty. service was excellent and food arrived quickly. Very fresh very yummy as the kids said!Wewould go there again no hesitation.

celebrated my birthday at cyma with friends last night and had such a wonderful time! our food server "collette" was more than helpful and the food was awesome as usual -- we had my favorite roka salata, flaming cheese (OPA!), the lamb dish with rice-like pasta, and greece's national dish - moussaka... our dessert was ice cream, compliments of the house!

would love coming back -- again & again... :-)

been to Greece so I can say that not all their food is completely authentic flavor-wise. But the food is generally ok anyway so many people won't mind this.

Have had bad experience with service in the Greenbelt branch too. But the Trinoma branch is better.

"Cyma" is not a Greek word.. no matter what the servers were told to say it means.... in fact, there is no letter "C" in the Greek alphabet.... There is a "Kappa".. but what the heck... the food is authentic...and the service has always been good in my experience. OPA!

Celebrated my birthday in Cyma Greenbelt today (Sat. 28 Sept lunch) with my family and all I can say is the service was excellent! Thanks to our very efficient, courteous and knowledgeable waiter Cholo/Bond. I don't know if they are the same person but he responds to the name Bond rather than Cholo.

The moussaka was excellent! My family raved about the meatless moussaka and the Pikilia sampler. The Garides Pasta family size was inaccurately priced here at Munchpunch though. What was supposed to be P650 here turned out to be P880 in reality! Though it tasted so good, we didn't even finish half of it (party of 7).

All in all, it was a perfect celebration and they did not even charge us for corkage for the birthday cake we brought in.

If you're not familiar with Greek food and you're not the adventurer when it comes to food - I wouldn't suggest this place. A friend of mine went there to impress his girlfriend and they only got peeved with the service, the attitude of the servers and the manager as well when they complained about how long it took their orders to get to their tables. They waited a full 35 minutes and when their food got to their table, the food was cold. Plus when they asked for the bill, it took another 30 minutes just for the bill to get to them. That friend of mine vowed never to return to Cyma and actually told a lot of people about how lousy their experience was... to quote: "even if you paid me to go back, I won't.... ever". I wonder what the people at Cyma did to my friend to cause such anger.... tsk tsk..... be careful people of who you serve...
