asked the first attendant how big their primavera sandwich is. she pointed at the menu. duh! pissed, i told her to use her hands or fingers to estimate the size, which she did.
ordered it anyway and loved it.
had room for dessert so i ordered the blueberry ice cream cheesecake. chatting with a companion and didn't notice how time flew. 10 minutes or so passed and no cake yet.
second food server apparently did not punch my order so there was no "order" so to speak. to think the room was not crowded.
pissed again. told them to cancel it.
four servers but two of them are daydreamers. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

i had a good time at five cows. i was eating with my aunt and cousin for my birthday. the food was good. we had nachos for appetizers, chicken steak for my aunt, country style pork belly for my cousin, and creamy mushroom & beef for me. the servings are big that your money isn't a waste. i think five cows is a great place for dessert. the food we had for dinner was good. you can practically buy the food we ordered somewhere else for a cheaper price.Rating

- "Frozen" Dessert

My family had dinner at Trinoma and we were craving for dessert. I suggested this resto to try out the menu. We ordered Rocky Almond Slice, Lemon Torte Slice, S'mores Cake Slice and Decadent Sundae. From the appearance alone, the desserts look appetizing. I was the one who ordered the Lemon Torte Slice since I am not too fond of chocolate-based desserts (if there are other choices). The dessert was covered by a crust of some sort and the entire slice was probably three inches thick. The worse part is that the dessert was frozen (when the crust part is frozen, it is so rock-hard.) When I cut through it with my fork, the slice almost flew out of the plate. I had to collapse the slice and eat it horizontally. Even then, the frozen crust was fighting off the fork. The lemon cream would have been good in terms of "tartness" or "tanginess" had it not been frozen too. I had a taste of my husband's Rocky Almond Slice and it was yummy. My three other companions were lucky with their respective desserts. Service was fast and friendly. The waiter brought us glasses of water without asking for our drinks. We would have ordered water just the same because of the already sweet treats we were having. The place was cozy and prices were reasonable. Except for my "frozen" dessert, the experience was good.Rating

Even their specialty dessert was lousy. I didn't care for their soggy pasta or uncreative pizzas either.Rating

I wouldn't mind paying more if the dishes are superb. But the food in Five Cows was hardly worth the price we paid for. We ordered Gamberetti and it was the WORST PASTA we ever had! Tuna apple sandwich, on the other hand, was okay but nothing special.
They also had a creative selection of desserts. We got a Belgian Chocolate Mint. It was worth trying. But given the price, we might just make our own. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

Me and my friends sampled a few cold desserts that they are offering and I'm telling you guys--everything are very very good! I suggest the Flaming Alaska! It's an ice cream dessert covered with marshmallow then flamed so that the marshmallow will melt. Actually we didn't order this one but some yuppies near our table did. When it was finally served to them, a crew turned off the lights and the manager started clinking a bell. Me and my friends wondered and asked " So what's happening?" until another crew approached with the dessert and set the poor marshmallow into flames. The best part was when all thew crew clapped and shouted "Awoo! awoo!" (like the Spartans from the movie 300). It was so funny but we find it very unique to promote the dessert.Rating

Everything was good: the crew, the ambience, the food and the length of time of the service. Very good place to chill out and to enjoy ice cream with your friends! - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

Come on, guys. I sought out this place because it got rave reviews. I was surprised to find out that it's a crowded little place, wide open to the Trinoma cinema lobby. It has dirty white picnic tables and chairs for furnishings, and the waiters provide little candles to help keep the flies away from your food. The menus must have looked good when they were new, but they are obviously not new anymore.Rating

I will concede that the food is inventively prepared and well-presented. In fact it all seemed out of place. I simply couldn't see myself ordering and eating even a semi-expensive steak in those surroundings. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

and the food is magnifique!
food is well presented, service is excellent.
the ribeye steak which is imported from Australia and priced for less than P 600 was one of the best i've had. their pasta and sandwich selections are very good, too.
I always have a different foodie moments at this place and so far, anything I've tried on their menu does not fail to disappoint.
which brings me to another highlight of 5 cows - the dessert! Remember that yummy ice cream cake you always craved for as a child? They're found here!
Their ice cream selections that rival cold rock are worth mentioning, too. The ferrero crunch is a bit sweet for me though. My big reco is the banana caramel- Y-U-M-M-Y!!!
5 cows is located near the cinemas you won't miss it!
