While most dishes are standard fair, trying out the different maki and sushi is a refreshing delight. From the dragon rolls to the wagyu bacon rice bowls, you will get your fill.Rating

Trying out different stuff can get pricey, but your tummy will thank you for it.
It also helps that the staff are smartly dressed. :) John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5 - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

Well, the soups were a total disappointment, lot of good stuff inside but the soup had absolutely no taste, like water.
Big disappointment and the bill was 830P, probably the last time I went there. John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5 - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

My mom ate here with her friend and she was beaming with the great food when she got home. So, when I went out with my friends, we decided to try out the place. It was 12 noon and the place was already full. The place is nicely decorated, modern cool type of place. We waited for around 5 minutes for a table for 4. We ordered there goes my diet platter and crunchy tuna roll. It took them around 20 minutes to serve our food and we were famished by then. The service was slow and the servers weren't as friendly as in Cyma's (they have the best service for me and I compare everything to them) We chowed down on our food and halfway through it, i was already "nauumay" with the taste. All the sauce for the dishes tasted so much alike and salty. The rolls were good though, yummy and unique. It's the only thing I really liked. John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5Rating

It was my first time to eat at John and Yoko last week to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and I would definitely come back there to eat again. I like the ambiance of the restaurant: the interiors are stylish and modern. The food all looked delicious and luckily, I was not disappointed with the taste. It was very busy when we came so we were expecting the service to be slow. But given the amount of people eating there, the wait time is acceptable. The wait staff are very friendly and polite, given that they are really under the pump, particularly Richmond, d guy with d mole. He was the one who was assigned to our table to serve us, and he definitely made our dining experience worthwhile. Since it was my first time to dine there, I had lots of questions with the menu and he was really very patient in answering my questions. Me and my friend had a few requests while we were eating like extra bowls, cutleries, glass of water etc. but he didn’t seem irritated with our requests. Given the amount of people dining that night, I could see that he is under pressure and is already tired, but he still tried to be cheerful and served us with a smile. I thought to myself, this is how a waiter should be! This is why I am writing a review here… to acknowledge nice, hard working and professional people. John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5Rating

- Craving for Katsudon and kani

Whenever I have this strong craving for Katsudon,I head over to this resto. Their Katsudon is big enough for 2 and they can serve it into 2 separate servings if requested. Their teriyaki pizza's also a winner as well as their chicken teriyaki rolls and california maki with the latter having generous toppings of kani. What displeased me a bit was the slow service of the waiters and the fishy smell of my clothes after the visit. John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5Rating

during my first (and definitely, last) visit to john and yoko, i had the most unsatisfying meal i've ever had. a sushi plate, a sashimi order, and two flavored sakes costed me Php730! and the place wasn't so great either. i appreciate the looped akira kurosawa film on the wall but the place was really a bad attempt to make it look like an artsy resto. and yes the waitresses weren't very friendly, too dressed up and too made up to be serving decent meals. i was thinking of getting a second round of sushi but decided i ought to be spending my next 200 bucks on a more filling meal elsewhere. The service was unfriendly and overall dismal. The waitresses, with their inane nicknames, looked like they're so bored with their job and made the customer feel that one is such a pain-in-the-butt for even expecting to be attended, or a smile at the very least. The food is nothing great - okay, it was boring and bland. The pot of supposedly fresh-brewed house tea is tepid and tasteless. Where was the tea??? Never again! John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5Rating

I've been to John & Yoko quite a number of times. Their Chicken Teriyaki and Mango Pizza is a family favorite. One thing I have noticed, however, is the steady decline in their service. I'm glad to be backed up by previous reviewers here. It's a chore for any diner to get the attention of the service staff. And the worst part is when you DO get their attention: they hold their hand up as if to stop you or shut you up. It doesn't matter if they mean to say, "I'll be right with you." Coupled with their sour expressions, there is no excuse for it. IT IS DOWNRIGHT RUDE. You'd think they would follow it up by approaching you with at least a hint of a smile (when they eventually do attend to you). Unfortunately, they remain cold and regularly get your orders wrong.Rating

The fact of the matter is, when I dine out, I always make it a point to be kind to the service staff. So to be given this kind of treatment at John & Yoko is insulting.
Plus their pizza is shrinking. John and Yoko, Greenbelt 5 - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus
