Got the chance to try out this restaurant last November 7, 2008.

At first, my friend was a bit hesistant to try out the place as there was nobody, except for the two guys drinking beer outside the said resto, was eating there. Nevetheless, I persisted on insisting that we try the place out.

The verdict? All the food we ordered were exceptionally delicious. The food have a perfect blend of flavors with one another.

The tuna sashimi was really delicious. Even without the wasabi paste, which I am used to in Japanese restaurants, it was full of flavor.

The chicken tenders was oh so with the right spicyness. I love the sauce that goes with it. I even dipped the tuna sashimi in it.

The Chef's quarter's pasta was just right. I am not a tomato based person (more of a pesto).

The ambiance is so relaxing. I love the interior of the place. Especially the mats =)

The service? One of the best service I ever had. The waiters and waitresses are attentive. Although, I might say I may not be accurate with this one because it was only my friend and I who were their customers at that time (It was around 8PM).

I would definitely go back to try their other dishes in the menu.

The food and the experience is definitely worth your money! =)

I finally got to try Chef's Quarter... a nice restaurant surrounded by glass outside Robinsons Place. A fine dining place in Malate... It may look expensive.. reserved only for special occasions. That's how nice the place is.. many may feel intimidated but it's what makes it such a gem. A place I wouldn't mind going to Manila for... reserved only to those who believe they deserve the best in dining.

Seeing 5 stars in reviews that I've read made me think 'Whoa! is it really that good??' Maybe overrated.. It took me awhile to try it.. but a big regret. I see now I've been missing a lot in those times I just past through it.

It such a wonderful and delicious dining experience..I just had to share it!

Let's start w/ the salad.. Tessie Tomas was a BIG delightful surprise! Fresh veggies topped w/ thin slices of salmon and big roasted prawns. We split it into two and the serving was still perfect for each others big appetite!!! Perfect portioning and perfect combination of quality seafood and greens!!

For main course, we had the lamb shank. I love lamb shank over lamb chops..and would order shank when i see it offered in restaurants. With all those I've tried so far, this is the best I've feasted on! Tender and delicious meat cooked w/ the best sauce I've ever tasted w/ lamb shank. It is also paired w/ perfectly cooked and tasty risotto. For a typical Asian's food intake, this dish is meant for sharing!

The complimentary red wine I got.. perfect with the lamb shank!!!

*Ambiance - just look at it when you pass by RP, obviously 5 star!
*Service - perfect execution of attentive yet unobtrusive service!
    *Food - delicious!
*Price - the best value you can find in the country!

No kidding!!! This place deserves a 5 star.

*I was thinking the reviews might be bogus given the 5stars.. I couldn't help clinking all the reviews as useful after realizing all those written reviews would honestly describe chef's quarter.

I seldom give a 5 star and I hope everything I mentioned here (food quality and standard) would be maintained or I will erase this review! =P

I went to this Chefs' Quarter for four times that I was in Manila for only two weeks and I must say what an excellent choice of food they have. From the moment you start anything up to the last bite of your dessert, your appetite will be satisfied. If I have more time, I would love to try all their food .

Presentation of food was well prepared and the staff were all nice and courteous, they were all trained well for this kind of business.

I highly recommend this place to anyone since their selection is for everyone.

Good luck to the management and to all the staff, I will surely come back whenever I am in Manila for my vacation.

Been to Chef's Quarter a couple of times. I personally had a taste of their Lamb Shank and Salmon, and I should say that every taste of it suited my palette. Being based in the US, we have the opportunity to taste different cuisine every now and then, but Chef's Quarter is not for the Filipino taste-buds only, it can satisfy any cravings at its best. Even our kids like their Fish and Chips and when they order cant help myself but share a bite with my kids. And of course, make sure to leave some room for their variety of tasteful deserts. I highly recommend Chef's Quarter.. try it for yourself and every money spend will be worth it.

This is one of the few decent restaurant around manila that will make you feel home. Food is delicious with layers of flavor and the kitchen is open to customization/special requests. Service is engaged and friendly but not intrusive. The salads are awesome and have a lot of tasty ingredients, We even bought ourselves their own creation of salad dressings to bring home in the USA. We ate at Chef's Quarter a couple of times and everything in the menu are amazingly delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food you will be eating. If you're visiting Robinson's Manila sometime soon, you have to shoot by Chef's Quarter.

The food was great, I loved your Norwegian Salmon Steak. My wife enjoyed her order of baby back ribs. The service was one of the best, you have a very friendly staff. The ambiance was very inviting and relaxing which made our dinner experience unforgettable. I do hope to come back and try your mouth-watering steal particularly kobe beef soon. I wish you more success.

Continental fine dining will now be more convenient and inexpensive for Filipinos because of Chefs' Quarter. The prices are very low for their food's quality. All the dishes are cooked excellently, and their flavors will linger long after you've eaten them. There's just that "it" that captures your taste.

My favorite will always be the classic Tessie Tomas salad. Bursting with flavors and succulent textures, this salad is a meal in itself! It's just a simple salad, but the combination of greens, grilled shrimps, shiitake mushrooms, dried tomatoes and the light dressing is so good--and I know that I share this favorite with many other people.

Another notable thing that makes dining here very pleasant is the excellent service. Waiters are very attentive to each guest. Unlike other restaurants where you have to wave x times to the waiter to refill your glass, here, they do it automatically and with such grace and care. They make serving food look like an art!

If you're looking for an outstandingly pleasant dining experience, then you should try Chefs' Quarter. :)

When my GF and I got there, they immediately escorted us to our table. The place looks nice and clean. The ambiance was terrific, I really loved the smooth jazz music and it gave the feeling of a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. I’m not a salad eater at all, but I was able to eat the Caprese and Escargot and Mushroom Salad, I just removed the shrimp because I’m allergic to seafood (except to some fresh water fishes and mussels). Salad was very fresh and crisp. And then we were served with the very tender Chef’s Quarter Steak matched with the very delicious potato slices, perfectly fried to an outer crisp but juicy inside, and the very frsh tasting Salmon Steak topped with herbs and potato tots. And then lastly the very impressive dessert, the presentation really put a smile on my GF’s face. Desserts were creamed strawberry on some sort of a cone and the other was a chocolate cake with ice cream on top, the top of the cake where the ice cream was sitting, was a solid chunk of chocolate, delicioso!!! Service was excellent and friendly, very very accommodating. And the food is excellent, and ambiance was awesome! I’ll definitely go back to Chef’s Quarters in Midtown. I can’t wait to try out the other food in the menu. Superb experience! It sure is a date place.
