We had breakfast there the other day and were both disappointed by our meals. I had the Southwest Sunriser (not sure about the name); the description was chicken with salsa and pepperjack cheese, scrambled eggs, and pancakes...yes, I was hungry. Mmm, fresh salsa and spicy pepperjack cheese! The dish I received had a thin, deep-fried chicken patty with a bland, bottled salsa--more like a spaghetti sauce; the pepperjack cheese was a 2"x1" square on top. My scrambled eggs were cold and the three small pancakes were tough. My wife had the pancake benedict. Though not bad, she didn't feel the pancakes were a good match with the savory hollandaise sauce.
The service was friendly, but our server spent too much time chit-chatting with the kitchen staff.
The positives: the portions are hearty and the refillable coffee was good. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

i ate there with my best buddies in the office. i was looking for a heavy meal since it was lunch time. i thought i will be 'bitin' with what i ordered but turns out, i was so 'busog' even though i only had french toasts (and not rice). my stomach was satisfied (i love their sausages) but i was surprised when i saw the bill... kinda expensive for a french toast bread, 2 sunny side-up egg, bacons, and sausages.Rating

As the title suggests, this writer is a breakfast lover so going to a place like this is not a question --- even if the service is on-off good and even if the value is an issue. I am not actually sure if it's worth encouraging or discouraging anyone but I definitely can say I like this place >>>>> better than Heaven n Eggs. For all the small stuffs that most people will just ignore - that was the only main reason why I keep on coming back.Rating

1. Pretty decent and refillable coffee
2. Yummy jellies/jams --- look ma! I see real fruits :P
3. Surprisingly gourmet-tasting country sausages --- I was really expecting the canned sausage that almost all establishments are serving.
4. Waffles that has the "real" Belgian crisp.
5. Hotcakes that bounce --- I kinda like the bounce versus the soft ones (of Pancake House)
.. and lastly, I just love seating on the cushioned seats...gives me the comfort that I want. - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

As far as food goes, servings are more than one person can handle and it tastes good as well. Service is fantastic, the manager and servers were really on hand to be of service. Unlike places in Makati that charge too much for too little food that won't even stain your teeth - Flapjacks went beyond my expectations for American style eating - serving was well worth their prices and the people are a 'breath of fresh air' considering how hectic work can be - its nice to eat and unwind in a place where people are friendly, warm, great food and great service.Rating

Seeing it from the outside, the place really looks inviting. It's colorful, it's fun, it's well lit. I can't say that the food is inedible, it's just not very good at all. Underseasoned and just bland. You'll be shocked when you see the bill.Rating
