i learned about the place here in munchpunch! yehey! no need to go far to get my pasta and pizza fix.

pastas - i still have to try other entrees. hubby and i are not into pesto that much but we finished their pesto and pasta plate. tried the carbonara too - yup! its yummy!

pizza - tried the Qizia Special. Were not much sold out there, maybe i'll try other variant.

cake - ok. like the blueberry cheesecake. but it gets too sweet towards the end.

but we will definitely be back over and over. i hope more shops like this opens.

Finally! One Unforgettable Number in Marikina!!!

I grew up in the Makati area, and got used to delicious Italian/breakfast type treats being just around the corner. So imagine how depressing my first few months in Marikina was.

Thank God Qizia was born. I love this place because they serve scrumptious pasta dishes and pizzas that don't break my budget.

    Here are absolute must-try's:
    1. Creamy carbonara - It's creamyyy and yummyyy...and it isn't one of those carbonaras that lack in taste (matabang). It's got just the right amount of creaminess and saltiness to it. (Php95)

    2. Qizia's Special Pizza - They use a different kind of dough for this and it's really true to its name. Special indeed. For only Php140 bucks, this number will surely satisfy your craving for pizza.

    3. Penne Arrabiata - This one is my co-workers' favorite. Crisp bacon slices, rich tomato sauce and chunks, and an oh-so-spicy kick! If you don't like it too spicy, you may also request for it to be served mild. ;) (Php98)

As for their cakes, I regret to say that they are all FORGETTABLE. Their cakes look delicious, but for Php80 I was expecting my chocolate cake to be a little more richer and more moist. It was dry and wasn't as sweet as it was supposed to be. Their cookies were mediocre too.

On my next visit, I'm thinking of trying their rice meals as I've been hearing people rave about them.

i love this cafe/resto because we lack places like this in marikina. now, we don't have to drive too far to eat decent pasta and pizza (if craving hits). it's affordable and the portions are really worth their prices...just take the crispy bacon on their breakfast menu-they take their time crisping up the bacon and its quite filling. the penne arrabiata is delish and spicy like it should be. the salpicado and adobo is equally good. the thin-crust pizza (my fav is the margherita) is right on the money. thanks to the owners of this place for giving us (marikenos) a good, decent, and clean hang-out. congrats and more power!

it was a rainy night but still, there were no more available tables at Qizia. i was sooo hungry but thanks to the friendly waiter who assisted us and reserved a table and a bench for us. I ordered cheese sticks to start off and the crispy belly for my main course. my order took a while but it was worth the wait. i had a slice of chocolate cake and it was sinfully delicious. We also had pizza, but i was really full so i tried the hot tea which smelled so good and by the way, it was the best tea that i have tasted.

Just had breakfast at Qizia. I didn't expect that there is this cute place at the back of SDS Med.Ctr. I tried the longganisang macao and my son, James had cordon bleu for breakfast. It was really good! They also do have good coffee. You must try it with the chocolate cake....really moist chocolate cake. Awesome.

I didn't expect a place like this in Marikina. Wow! an awesome place.... and the food.... it's great! We ordered the crispy pork belly and the grilled chicken pizza>>>so yummy! they serve tea in crystal pouches and the coffee is a lot better than starbucks.
What a fabulouse find. I'll bring my friends over and I'm looking forward to try their pasta. It looked so inviting.

A cool, casual cafe with great and affordable food. You must try the pizza, you'll surely enjoy the crispy thin crust and cheesy pizza ... plus... don't forget to try the beef pesto(best pesto pasta I've tasted), spicy shrimp pasta. amatriciana and you'll surely love the creamy cheese pasta. All of these are soooo yummy. You'll surely get addicted to it. The rice meals are also sooo good. I haven't tried all but I haven't ordered anything that I didn't love. The coffee is also great especially with the mouthwatering desserts that they offer. YUMMY!!!
However, its quite difficult to be seated during dinner time.
