    I would say that i have to thank Mister Kebab for introducing me to persian cuisine. My bf and i were so addicted to it that we ate there several times as week. What's good was it suited our budget ... P200 for 2??

    But later on, i think my taste buds matured. I've wanted more spice or more 'authentic' tasting. That's why we shifted to Behrouz. Ababu is a poorman's Behrouz which i also frequent.

    So when was the last i was at Mister Kebab? I don't remember anymore and not planning to go there soon. It's really good if you want the creamy, sweet sauce. But i think i'm past that. Plus, they really have to work on the consistency in taste and quality of their food.

    ok, i know people are raving about this place. whether it's because of the price or the food. but i have to disagree with some of them. ive eaten there a few times and i find their food somewhat inconsistent, i remember ordering a piece of fried potato cake that i felt was good the first time but was terrible the second time around. not the place to eat when its the middle of summer or its raining cats n dogs. it also doesnt help that alot of people smoke n the sound of cars n smell of exhaust fumes enter the place. i know restos with the same price with airconditioning so im iffy about the place. if its just the food n price, then its ok. but since theres no airconditioning n always noisy then its not worth it. go to bettys or tasty or han pao instead.

    Three good reasons why Mister Kabab should be the ONLY persian restaurant worth visiting:
    (1) the price is oh-so-right. i even think it's a little less for the tates and portion served. the best tasting keema in town! Hossein's have a poor version. I have to order grilled tomato, garlic and yogurt to get the taste right.
    (2) garlic sauce all you can.
    (3) open 24 hours. i can have my comfort food at two in the morning without hassle.

    if you're tired at looking at menus that are either local or oriental, then maybe it's about time you pay Mister Kabab a visit. the place in general isn't flashy and don't expect air conditioning. you can even go there and dine out of your bed.

    gastronomically filling entrees from pork, to chicken to fish and even vegetables awaits you. but i suggest you go for their beef dishes. among them i would recommend Keema, chelo kabab, the shawarma served on a plate and (non-beef) sizzling lamb-chops. any of the dishes mentioned above plus a drink will cost you around Php200.- or less. i won't be surprised if you would consider their dishes an alternative comfort food.

    HOLY COW! where can you find a restaurant that serves an all beef dish for P80? and a good sized serving, too?!

    i really enjoyed my visit to mister kabab. you can wear your houseclothes here. very casual atmosphere - not airconditioned but there's a roof. it's like a large & fancy carinderia.

    what to order: shawarma in a plate. don't order the shawarma sandwich! order the one in a plate, there's MUCH more beef there (for an extra P20) and you can just make a side order of pita bread.

    the only thing missing from this joint is ALCOHOL! how come there's no beer??? i was looking forward to drinking a cold one along with my hot shawarma. i have a feeling it's because they don't want customers lingering in this place. turnover is super fast and sometimes there's a line to wait to go inside. so you go in, order, eat, pay then get out.

    oh i gave a 3star rating for the service because... well what do you expect from a place like this? they're okay. service is fast but don't expect friendly smiles.

    highly recommend if you're in the QC area and are looking for something quick & cheap!

    da best ive ever had in the philippines, its like an addiction, u start thinking of the food, the next thing u know ur on ur way there hahaha... since 2003 i think i started eating there yeah the ventilation was very poor then, but now at their new location, ambience is better just like in the middle eastern countries.... wish they had shisha tho* ive always loved their hommus (tho not everyone i know wants to eat it haha) and the special chelo kebab yummy.. the garlic sauce OMG u wanna splatter it all over ur plate hehehe...... so anyone who wants to eat a mouthful go to MR kebab.. i had to create an account just to give this head's up to them ^^

    sounds like eeeew right? but if you taste it its taste good especially with there butter rice and pita bread...yum oh! and i tasted the beef something i forgot the name its also taste delicious...try there food and you will love it too!!! affordable price...

    There ambiance in there old location is quite good but now there located along the West Ave. Q.C. it looks good...nice place!

    i love Mr.kebab's beef beryani... :) everyone who loves spicy food will surely get this as their favorite dish especially when paired with the Yoghurt shake!!

    special cielo kebab!super sarap with the butter on your rice and the sauce!! the keema is also tasty and the pita bread is okay. prices are very reasonable. i like the new location now, along west ave, has better ventilation than the old one at the corner of west ave and q ave. it also has a bigger space this time and a better parking though the lines are still uber long! even at around 9pm, you still have to wait for a table. they should really work on getting more waiters as it is hard to get the attention of the servers and sometimes it takes a while before your order arrives. the parking is better in this new location although hindi naman din sobrang okay. nice design din outside, with the small fountain. its also easier to notice mister kebab now because in the old location, people who have no idea that they exist can barely see them.
