I've been waiting to find the opportunity to try this restaurant with all the great reviews we've been hearing from friends and family. We finally went last weekend and in our anticipation, we practically ordered the entire menu! the portions were large and hefty (which we were expecting). The ambiance was very nice and cozy..i especially loved the mural that was painted on the wall. Was meaning to ask who painted that but didn't get a chance to. The service was excellent. Kudos to the well trained and very cordial staff (shout out to Anoi). The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was very, very good. It surprised us since usually, a dish or two would stand out and the rest would just be "okay" but all the dishes that came out were exceptional (except maybe for the avocado salad which was a bit bland for my taste-but i was never a fan of avocado in salad anyway). This is definitely going to be in our agenda very soon. O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, JupiterRating

Went here because of the generally positive reviews agreeing with the whole "dream" concept of this restaurant.Rating

I went with my wife and we ordered the avocado salad, the fish fingers, the peri-peri chicken and the coffee-marinated pork.
My dream began with my tongue and subconscious immediately getting into an argument whether the salad dressing was in fact, avocado or some tasteless random green sauce that was masquerading as avocado. Tongue 1, Subconcious 0. Avoid that salad.
The dream got somewhat better when the fish arrived although copious amounts of lemon was needed to mask that the fish was already around when the japanese invaded the country.
The very oily-salty, i mean peri-peri, chicken was up next and well...you could tell how that went.
Finally, this was the first time I inadvertently had pork for dessert as the coffee sauce on the pork invoked visions of a mad barrista spraying sugar, coffee and caramel sauce over a slightly upset piece of pork. It was that sweet and strange.
At that point we decided to forego dessert for a quick blood sugar check at a nearby hospital. Bill for this dream --- P1,600.00.
Maybe people should think of dropping the dream thing from their descriptions. I've had better for less. O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, Jupiter - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

Loved their Picado and Seafood Paella. The beef cubes in Picado was really tender and full of flavor. Their seafood paella had a unique taste different from the Spanish style paella. Another great thing about O'Sonho is their food portions, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, JupiterRating

The food is pretty oily (well perhaps that's Portuguese?).
Anyway, nothing special in this restaurant.
We did not hate it but the experience has almost been forgotten. O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, Jupiter - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

I've been dying to try this restaurant since I happened upon one of the reviews two weeks ago. I managed to wrangle 2 of my friends to eat there tonight and as soon as we walked in, the smell of the food made our mouths water.Rating

For starters, we had the picado and the Bacalhau De "O'sonho". For our main courses, we had the peri-peri chicken and the coffee marinated pork chop. I had an iced tea and coffee after the meal. Here's what we (but mostly me) thought:
Picado -> I liked the fact that it wasn't too salty, which is the usual fault I find with salpicao-type dishes. The bell peppers added flavor to the dish as well as the slightly sour taste of the sauce.
Bacalhau De "O'sonho" -> my friends and I had mixed reviews about this dish. I liked it a lot, but one of my friends said it was too salty and oily and that it reminded him of sardines. I'm thinking that sea bass is really an acquired taste so don't expect everyone to like this when you order it.
Peri-peri chicken -> one word: heavenly. That is, if you like spicy food. I like the fact that extra peri-peri sauce is made available to those who could stand a bit more heat. One thing I did notice is that there is too much chicken for the rice that comes with the dish. For people who are just hungry, I would recommend getting a single order of this and an extra bowl of rice.
coffee marinated pork chop -> I raised my eyebrow when this dish was presented to our table. My opinion was that it was "too brown" that it actually looked unappealing. My friend loved the mashed potatoes that came with this dish and he said that it was the best mashed potatoes that he's ever tasted. The pork was very tender and the coffee sauce made of an interesting flavor. This reminded be a bit of an asado dish spiked with espresso. Flavor-wise, it's okay, but the presentation could use some work.
Iced lemon tea -> really good! I wish they would consider having a bottomless variety because I'm not too keen on fishbowl drinks.
Premium brewed coffee -> their coffee is really rich and full bodied that doesn't really need sweeteners or cream to be enjoyed. I like the fact that they provide muscovado instead of the usual brown or white sugar since I find that this goes better with coffee.
Here are some tips when you plan to east at O'sonho:
1. Make a reservation. The place is cozy, but tiny. Since we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait for almost 30 minutes for seats.
2. Leave the car at the office. It's close enough to Buendia MRT station to just hoof it to O'sonho. If you bring a car, be prepared to park along the street since there are only a few available parking slots.
3. Be prepared to wait for your main courses. Order appetizers because some dishes, like the coffee marinated pork chop, take a while to cook.
Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. One of the people with me commented that this was the first place we've eaten that I was actually happy with the food. Know what? He's right. :) O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, Jupiter - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

This resto's quite small and cozy. Tried the chorizo sisig, fish fingers, seabass, peri-peri chicken, pot roast in coffee sauce and the gambas. All did not dissappoint save for the gambas which was quite dry and tasteless. The seabass was oohh so tender and perfectly cooked slathered with a real flavorful cream based sauce. Both the fish fingers and peri-peri chicken came with a sambal-like sauce, keep away from it if you aren't fond of spicy stuff. Who would have thought that chorizo would go oh so well with sisig? Pot roast was fork tender and the coffee sauce was something different.Rating

Don't forget to bring cash as their credit card terminal might not be functioning. It'll save you the hassle of going to the nearest ATM or waiting for over 30 minutes (or so they say). O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, Jupiter - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

Great and attentive wait staff. We were a group of five and had the Chorizo Sisig, Platter O' Fries, House Greens, Espetada De Carne, and the Whole Roast Peri-Peri Chicken. Our tab, with soda (soft drinks) for everyone, came out to 2,500 pesos, which I thought was very reasonable. Go easy on the garlic and olive oil dip--although it's delish, it's a bit heavy. The Chorizo Sisig is also on the oily side, although the waitress assured us that it's "healthy" because they use olive oil. Looking forward to returning to this restaurant to try their other offerings. I just hope they maintain the quality and that the restaurant continues to thrive. The roasted whole peri-peri chicken is excellent (have it with herbed rice mixed with a hint of extra peri-peri sauce...if you like it hot!)! Good for a "really" hungry couple or for 3 "just" hungry people. Pair it with O'sonho's House Greens to balance your meal (can be shared) and try the classic Chorizo Sisig...it's mouth-watering and can imagine having some of the leftovers for breakfast with hot pandesal. Wish they had delivery service! O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, JupiterRating

This has to be one of the best newer restaurants opened in Manila. Not only is the food excellent portions but also excellent taste, a a lot of variety in the menu to offer something for everyone. Food is hearty and tasty and it's one of those places you wil want to keep going back to to try everything on the menu, and i don't think you could get bored of the food here very fast. My couple of friends who i took here went back the next week 3 times, so it's a winner for sure :) O'sonho Portuguese Fusion Restobar, JupiterRating
