We went in this spooky restaurant around 7pm, monday to check their food and dine with my wife since we haven't go out for a date for quite sometime. At first glance, the quiet ambiance caught my attention, taught it was a perfect dinner date for us but the result did not went as expected. While waiting for someone to take our orders, my wife noticed the leathery tablecloth and of course the suede black couch/sofa full of dust...hhhhm very nice, jokingly told to my wife "well maybe that's part of the whole gloomy effect of the resto". The food wasn't that great also, my wife ordered for curry's fried steak top with scrambled eggs and mine was Angus beef with mashed potatoes. Then, the refreshments... my wife ordered for mango shake and for me, I tried combination of mango and orange shake, and asked if it's also the same price. The waiter just nod at me and went out to prepare our food. While waiting for our food, we were entertained by JLO's concert from the left flat screen tv and another concert which was muted at the right flat screen tv. It's hard to watch two different scenes at the same time. After the sumptuous dinner, We usually doesn't review our bill before we pay but crossing-in to our orders, I was surprised that a fresh orange shake is worth P180 pesos while the other shakes are P85 pesos only. We asked the waiter why it was P180 pesos, he just said because it was "freshly squizzed orange shake"...well I asked him what's the difference of my order with my wife's "freshly sliced mango shake"... he went back to the cashier and explained to their manager of the incident. Then, came back with a different receipt... now it's only P118 pesos , they gave me a discount. Wow, that's great! thanks. How on earth H&E computed the P118 pesos, it doesn't even reflected in their menu? We went out with dog smile in our face. Heaven 'n Eggs, Glorietta 4Rating

We heard so much about this quirky restaurant that I made it a point to try it while we were in Makati last week.Rating

I had no idea that "Heaven' was actually "Hell". We went at 3 pm and the resto was quite empty. Our orders were taken promptly but delivered almost an hour later. During the waiting time, we were subjected to non-stop Spandau Ballet videos. Seeing those dorky '80s videos gave me chills down my spine.
Finally, our orders arrived, but not before some other customers who ordered later than us got theirs! Another customer, who also waited as long as us, was not going to take it sitting down and went up to the counter to give the staff a 'pep talk'. ;-)
As we settled down to eat (at last!), the waiter brought us a romantic candlelight - "for the flies", he said.
Regretfully, the food was only OK and nothing to shout about. Pricey too.
I would not recommend this eatery to anyone, except for Halloween, perhaps. ;-) Heaven 'n Eggs, Glorietta 4 - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

The new (or relatively new) look of Heaven n Eggs in Glorietta made us try it out for the first time. The decor is rock and roll with the cymbal inspired chandelier, a picture of mick jagger somewhere and the dark brown and red theme of the furnishings. It was actually nice and comfy. What I really liked was that even though its supposed to be rock and roll, the music wasn't too intimidating. that's definitely a plus. However, I was a bit confused to hear a lot of Motown. I guess that's what brings in the customers. Its ok, at least it won't give you indigestion.Rating

The menu had interesting and catchy names. We ordered Rock You Like a Hurricane which was a steak with shoestring potates and veggies. It was decent-sized steak with lots of potates and some veggies. Another dish we got was Roast Beefin on the Edge. The menu described it as loaded with gravy, but it wasn't. I had to request for additional gravy and it was provided. It came with rice good enough to share and some veggies.
The food is nothing spectacular, but its what I'd call dependable. They boast of comfort food, and that's excatly what it is. Heaven 'n Eggs, Glorietta 4 - Was this review...? Useful | Useless | Bogus

the food is overly priced for food so average of taste. The interior however is interesting, it really looked heavenly. I tried it twice and I swear will never eat again. Plus, they have so many food in the menu that's almost always not available. Spend your money somewhere else... Heaven 'n Eggs, Glorietta 4Rating
