    some people complain that amici is not an authentic italian restaurant. maybe its roots were authentic but now since ex-red ribbon owner has taken over, it has morphed into some kind of mass-produced italian fast food chain type of resto. but who cares?! people should stop whining because the food is still good, especially for the price you're paying.

    recommended: frutti di mare pizza,
    spaghetti aglio olio (garlicky goodness, keep those mints handy!) and
    spinach fusili montanara. i like their pizza because it's thin crust, not too oily.

    what's great is caremia is right beside it, so after stuffing yourself with pizza you can top it all off with a cool scoop of gelato. only P50. some people have complained over a P50 scoop of ice cream, but friends this is not some run of the mill ice cream. this is gelato. it's creamy, not too sweet. highly recommend their mint chocolate flavor. if you have a sweet tooth, their sans rival is good, too.

    i also recommend taking home their chocolate chip cookies and giant ensaymada (it's about as big as a dinner plate for only P90 and goes great with your brewed coffee at home).

    great for a quick, filling and satisfying meal. wearing of sandos/slippers optional.     Amici, Greenhills
