Ambiance : OK
Food : OK
Price : OK
Restroom : Not OK (they only have 1 restroom and shared to both genders, also their sink is too small)
Service : Total Failure!!!!

Went here last 9/14/13, the waiters always asks us if they can get our charcoal, not to have it changed but saying it in a subtle yet irritating way that "You're not anymore ordering. Go and pay your bill". However, I am still eating. After that incident, all of the waitress keeps on checking if we will check out. As a 1st time customer, I felt so disrespected on the way they treated us. I would understand if we are done eating and then they get our charcoal.

First Try In Tajimaya Restaurant

Critique: Tajimaya
Cuisine: Japanese
Hours: 10:30-2:00 pm and 6:00-11:00 pm
Location: 2/F SM Mall of Asia JW Diokno Blvd. Brgy 76, Pasay City
Tel No: (632) 556-89-29
Lightings- Natural lighting and also used orange colored lightings
Music- Japanese pop music
Air conditioner- They have their own air conditioner
Chairs- Light brown color wooden like material with cushioned seats
Tables- Light brown color marble material on top and its legs black metal like
Walls- Tiles with light gray and gray in color in tile form
Floors- Tiles and in gray color
Foods Ordered:
Beverage- “Ryaucha Thai w/ Green Tea” P 110.00 not really excited about it because it tasted like seaweed tea instead of green tea, and they should also add lemon and honey.
Entrée- “Katubi Kuppa Beef” P250.00 this was an order that was out of my league but I like the taste. It was not too salty and very beefy, but I would like to recommend more beef though.
Appetizer- Surprisingly hearty and I like the combination of sesame oil in the dressing
Class B-C of students, businessmen, family of class B mostly, less of C, and clothing were business wear, casual, and semi formal.

Only female waiters served in their restaurant and they wear sort of yellow and meets with flesh in color short sleeves. Their skirt is the same color with their sleeves and they have black stockings with black shoe.
Barbie- She really knows how to up sell the product, and was smiling, charming and good listener. When I was ordering she seemed very informative to foods that I ordered and really did the special requests like: the dressings I preferred always on the side. But what she didn’t do which I frankly think was smart is to tell how much time it will take for food to be finished. She was very sensitive especially when I was done with my food I would instantly get the question would like to get those plates out, and would then also ask how the food was.
It was laminated to avoid breakages and the cover was showing that it really was an authentic Japanese Cuisine. There were pictures of the food in the menu which is a good thing also plus points also that they place underneath the Japanese menu is in English subtitles, but they should be detailed on what is in the menu to avoid guest that might have allergic reaction in them.
Yes, pricing and quality wise it is really good but I think if you are in a budget I prefer you don’t maybe just once every 4 weeks if you can just spend that day. This is another way to look at Japanese food and not just sushi.
