Had dinner here once with my bf.. The place is nice, interiors are classy yet comfy. The staff however seemed like newbies.. They often joked around and some flirted with each other, and then when we asked for something, we had to repeat our request twice or thrice because it seems like they don't understand. Finally, and the most important thing.. THE FOOD ---> MEDIOCRE. Nothing special and worth going back for. The oysters aren't spectacular either. Oyster Boy is way better when it comes to oysters.
Go greek! is just a foodcourt estalishment in Glorieta food choices but it serves quality greek and persian food which level to that of Cyma! I'm impressed! It is located at the very back end of food choices so you won't notice it right away. But if you walk around, you won't fail to see the bright and eye-catching Go Greek! corner.
I was able to try the chicken gyro combo meal (with salad and potato wedges). The meal is less than 200 bucks but it can cost more in Cyma! The salad with the sweet/nutty sauce is so good, the potato weges is very tasty but can make you too full, and the chicken gyro with pita bread is so satisfying! However, it's a little too oily.. but I'm not complaining! I also tried the greek salad which has a very generous serving. All the ingredients are high quality restaurant material, yet not expensive.
I would definitely go back to Go Greek! and try their other dishes. I am very interested to see if all their dishes can level up to Cyma's!
I love oyster boy metrowalk! The servers were very friendly, the oyster with cheese and garlic is excellent! what i loved the most was the BOTTOMLESS MARGARITA for only P300!!! woah! my girl friends and i had a blast drinking and getting tipsy!
i dont care if people say amici is not "authentic italian" or it lost its magic.. me and my family still goes there to eat every sunday (almost!). we never got tired of the food even if we order the same dishes:
spinach fusili montanara (yummy!!!!, satisfying!!!)
pomodor (just right!)
penne salmone (tasty!)
4 cheese pizza or tutta carne (both great!)
the service ok, the guards are very patient even if there are a lot of makulit people outside waiting for tables.. the guards should have a salary increase!! AMICI MANAGEMENT: give your guards bonuses this holday! hehe!
the chocolate chip NY cheesecake is to die for! it's sooooo good but rather bitin for sharing. me and my two brothers ordered two slices and it wasnt enough.
the rest of the dishes (we ordered fish and chips and oatmeal fried chicken -- i forgot what its called) were just ok. it was rather expensive and i didnt feel i got my money's worth.. but i know we're really paying for the ambiance and the cleanliness (i got a glimpse of the kitchen and it looked so clean).
the atmosphere was light and cozy, the decor was interesting! my brothers were typical "boys" who were used to grills, fastfood and pizza houses that it was like they were transported to another country. they kept looking around amazed at how nice the place looked. i loved the lighting too, the high ceilings, the attentive waiters (too attentive coz i wasn't even finished and they already asked if they can get my plate!) -- the overall all feel of the place.
i recommend everyone to try this place not so much for the food (although i only tried a few of their dishes so i'm not in the position to judge!) but for the experience.
